Craftsman Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 I was wondering if it would be possible to include a play back feature. Like after a fight you could save it. And watch it later from every angle.
JonIrenicus Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Interesting proposal!I would like to see this feature too.The fights in KotOR are indeed very good. Life... is strength. That is not to be contested; it seems logical enough. You live; you affect your world
pohh Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 interesting indeed... but that would require many-many different animations, otherwise it would get boring in a little time...
mkreku Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 I have a feeling this feature would only be interesting if you, as a player, had direct control over your character and was able to perform all the neat sword moves yourself. Otherwise you'll just get the same "fight movie" running over and over again.. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Darque Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 I wouldn't mind the ability to playback a cutscene or a dialogue.
Diogo Ribeiro Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 I wouldn't mind the ability to playback a cutscene or a dialogue. The ability to play back movies is always a nice feature, but cutscenes usually can't be replicated (cutscenes using an ingame engine, not video). Having a playback option for combat sounds iffy. I'd much rather have a special slow motion sequence depicting a critical hit or the death of a powerful enemy (possibly from a random angle), than having the option to replay a repetitive combat animation.
Craftsman Posted April 27, 2004 Author Posted April 27, 2004 Yes, slow motion of special moves would be great. The devs really have to make the combat fresh and exciting
