Mloren
I think you're shooting yourself in the foot a bit by not having a list of stretch goals on the kickstarter page. Now that the project is funded, people have no new goal to shoot for and donations will start to drop off.

batfax
I don't think they expected to hit their goal in a day.
nikolokolus
Give it some time. If you're that worried, maybe this will assuage your fears: Josh Sawyer @jesawyer hangin' in the fallout lounge at work with @adam_brennecke and @Feargus talking about stretch goals. Infinitron
I think you're shooting yourself in the foot a bit by not having a list of stretch goals on the kickstarter page. Now that the project is funded, people have no new goal to shoot for and donations will start to drop off. That's not necessarily true. On the contrary, now that the game is a "sure thing", many more people may pledge so they can get their copy when it's released.
mkreku
I don't think even the good folks at Obsidian expected it to hit the target quite that fast. They're probably panicking over at Obsidian headquarters, trying to come up with stretch goals in a hurry. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish! Tale
Just a theory here. The stretch goals are being withheld to generate a second wave of buzz and new backers when they are revealed. They may be doing the same with news updates on the project. Like the 4 day teaser. Parcel out information to keep up momentum. It seems to be a common strategy for successful kickstarters. Alternatively, they hadn't finalized them yet. They didn't even make that kickstarter video until earlier in the week. So they could be playing it by ear. Roby Atadero
This is what happens when everyone here pours this much support more quickly then anyone at Obsidian expected. You've got them all frenzied up at the studio on a Saturday. I believe that deserves a thumbs up. Twitter: @robyatadero
Labadal
Not listing stretch goals now is good. The pledges will slow down, and then stretch goals will help increase interest for new backers, and old backers might increase their pledge. (I increased my W2 and BS pledges after learning about their goals.) We'll probably also get more info about the game as the kickstarter is running, and the last few days, I'm guessing that we'll get something bigger and that will help with raising even more funds. That will happen if you guys are one of the few bigger developers who do not fear to make actual RPGs and not something like Dragon Age 2 XD
Volourn
Hey, Mr. Atadero, are dwarves in the game? I will pledge if they are. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.

Doesn't help I saw a funny .gif like that earlier .... I'm just happy it's funded and will be made ... I can wait a bit for the stretch goals. “Things are as they are. Rezin
If I had a stretch goal it would be a native linux client. It'd be nice but I just think it's bada$$ it got funded so quickly...now where's my t-shirt lol?

Syraxis
Better come up with more stretch goals because at this rate all those will be reached.
LadyCrimson
I think the rate of increase has picked up again somewhat already. “Things are as they are.
