Humodour Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Nice article: http://www.theverge.com/gaming/2012/3/28/2903588/half-life-borderlands-gearbox-software-aliens-brothers-in-arms I loved Opposing Force and Borderlands. I'm down for Borderlands 2. But mainly, it's just nice to see another independent studio doing well.
Morgoth Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Opposing Force was the only excellent game I ever played from that studio. The rest is merely "good". Good is not good enough anymore in this overcrowded and competitve industry, especially when it comes to shooter. Rain makes everything better.
Nepenthe Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Reapercussions

Rosbjerg Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Nepethe posted an image of Sartre, which I must admit confused me as well.. perhaps to say "existence precedes essence"? The other post I imagine was more of an reaction shot which tries to ridicule your argument - I interpret the picture as Virumor disagreeing with your premise and implicitly argues that since a good game is obviously good, then that should really be enough - if everything is excellent then everything looses it's value. 1 Fortune favors the bald.
Gfted1 Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Is that poor fat guy struggling just to breathe? "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
Orogun01 Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Is that poor fat guy struggling just to breathe? As he was having a heart attack from the strain of moving his mouse. I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you.
Nepenthe Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 In hindsight, I should've probably gone with Kierkegaard. 1 You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Reapercussions
