June 5, 201015 yr I completed my first game on Recruit. Now I can't start a new one on Veteran. What can I do to work around this?
June 5, 201015 yr Did you let the credits roll until the end? If not, try that, if yes..well, bug AFAIK. Giveaway list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DgyQFpOJvyNASt8A12ipyV_iwpLXg_yltGG5mffvSwo/edit?usp=sharing What is glass but tortured sand?Never forget! '12.01.13.
June 5, 201015 yr Verteran has more changes than Recruit... As Vetaran, you can do both the Vault and rescue your ally in Brayco's Villa...and Thornton tries to decrypt the Data in Taipe himself instead of letting Mina do it...sadly with the same outcome.... That outcome at Brayko's mansion actually isn't a veteran only option... Really...I wasn't able to do both with Operative and Recruit (Albatross/Sie)...some Intel missed or bad choices I made in Dialogue? I won't give specifics, but we do have checks based on backgrounds other than Recruit and Veteran, as well as skill ranks. I started noticing this on my second playthrough and I love you guys for it. LOVE!
June 5, 201015 yr Also more enemies and harder on veteran. I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you.
June 6, 201015 yr By the way, it's good to know that unlocked Veterean status is saved in ProfileOptions.dat file in game documents folder. So when backup up saves, back up that too. Spell Fixes compilation for Neverwinter Nights 2, as well as my other submissions for this great game.
June 6, 201015 yr Thanks for the info, it's certainly good to know, as I'm a great fan of backups. (At least since I lost 6 Mass Effect 1 characters saved for the sequel )
