And at least while they do compare it to ME...they also mention that it was being made before ME was released..

It seemed like a mostly fair preview, and the writer seems to have done his homework about the game.

For anyone not bothering to listen to it, Matt Hickman says in the podcast that most first-time players average about 30 hours to complete the game. I think that's a good length for a RPG generally, at least if we're getting the replayability that we seem to get here.

That sounds about right, first time through both ME and ME2 took me between 27 and 30 hours of gameplay. DA was slightly more, maybe around 35 hours. If AP offers 25+ hours for the first time through I'll be happy.

That probably means 23-25 for me, that's fine. That makes it on par with most recent big releases in the genre, and I expected it to be shorter for all that reactivity.
