Slowtrain Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 In the shops this game (DELUXE EDITION!) is on offer for UK Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.
Hurlshort Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 I don't want to give anyone the impression it is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it is well worth the $15 I dropped on it.
BicycleOfDeath Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 It's as good as NWN OC? I hardly believe it! Maybe your expectations were hgher? That's not a difficult feat to accomplish. While every other aspect of the game (besides the graphics) were amazing at the time, I thought the overall Original Campaign story was... stretched and scattered. The aliens really killed it for me. But then again, I'm not entirely sure if they're in the Forgotten Realms lore... If so, then I blame that. *chuckles* Stand Your Convictions and You Will Walk Alone.
Volourn Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Aliens? Huh? DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Oner Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Maybe he meant the dimensional gates in the pocket universe. Giveaway list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DgyQFpOJvyNASt8A12ipyV_iwpLXg_yltGG5mffvSwo/edit?usp=sharing What is glass but tortured sand?Never forget! '12.01.13.
Deadly_Nightshade Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Bah, I picked up a copy of "Two Worlds Epic Edition" for $15 today and now wish I hadn't as the DRM used is not the kind I want my money supporting (something I only found out after opening the box and reading something about activating the game via a phone or the internet). Before I install, is there a way to get back used activations or is the game useless after three goes? "Geez. It's like we lost some sort of bet and ended up saddled with a bunch of terrible new posters on this forum." -Hurlshot
Purkake Posted May 4, 2010 Author Posted May 4, 2010 The real question is: do you WANT to get that activation back, perhaps in this case the DRM is actually helping you out. Also, that avatar looks suspiciously familiar...

WorstUsernameEver Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Seems that Two Worlds 2 will come out September 14th (but you know, there's always the possibility they delay it ). Since I haven't played the first game (it seemed like an Oblivion clone at the time and the comments and reviews just cemented my bad opinion of it), how about telling me why I should buy the second? Any interesting news in the previews? Like, you know, decent world-building, deep combat system etc.?
