Darth Ravok
Like most RPG's there have been food effects. For KOTOR2 i think they should have added food in making it effect how well you fight... if u havent eaten in a while you will miss a lot and be vulnerable to attacks
Leferd
This is not a good idea. Why? Because it will make the game tedious. There is a direct inverse correlation between tediousness and fun factor. Games that are not fun generally do not sell well. Archmonarch
Very true, Leferd. Thats a bad idea. I still dont like it all that much in GTA San Andreas. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
Darth Ravok
I can tell you guys arent very good at RPG's if you think food is tedious... most rpg's have food in them effecting ur battle efforts
Archmonarch
You can be good at RPG's and still find food tedious. Case in point. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
Leferd
Ha! Now you've done it. Attacking my geek sensibilities now huh?! Ok pal, name me some uberkewl crpg's where food directly effects a character's fighting skills. And I'll counter with just how 'food' is totally unnecessary and having to constantly feed yourself is pure tedium. Powerslave
You had to eat in the Quest For Glory series but these are actually adventure/RPGs. You also had to eat in "Betrayal In Antara" but that isn't an uber-kewl cRPG so I guess you have a point

Darth Ravok
ultima online made you get more accuracy.. If you didnt eat ur spells would fail and you would miss your target.. A LOT!
Guest Michael Chu
KotOR2 will not require you to eat to keep up your peak fighting, talking and other heroic-type abilities. That's not to say Star Wars doesn't have some great food moments... blue milk, Yoda eating Luke's rations, Chewbacca going after the big thing of meat on Endor... Powerslave
Speaking of food and peoples' needs in SW, another thing pops into mind. There are completely NO latrines/bathrooms/whatever-slang-you-want-to-use in the SW films/books. Makes you wonder whether people in the SW universe have that urge to heed the nature's call at all... Leferd
thats a load of crap dude..... rpg, mmorpg i proved you wrong so booya <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Puhleaze. Notice my "uberkewl crpg" clause? Go back to yo mama little boy. All kidding aside...if you really want combat bonuses there are those stimulants that Canderous can hook you up with. Why eat? Darth Ravok
stimulants are good yes but im also talking about making u worse if you dont eat
Leferd
Seriously. Have you thought this through? Eating to constantly offset your hero's super-metabolism is not fun. It is tedious. There is no good reason why it should be included. Eating and bathroom breaks are best left to the imagination. Just assume that they do all those mundane biological functions when we're not looking. Everytime the phone rings and you pause the game, just assume that that is their cue to go to the head. Darth Ravok
1. I was kidding about the bathroom thing 2. I honestly like food in games it gives you something to worry about, I like the smallest parts of games

Sirus
What? No food? The game will completley suck and not feel like Star Wars. Star Wars wouldn't be what it is today without the infamous 'Yoda Food Scene.'
