does anyone else not notice during the video and screen shots that there is no mags in the guns wtf the game looks good but that is ridiculous looking when its suppose to be a realistic modern day rpg and the have no mags in the rifles thats to lame looking so if any one has info for that please lets discuss.

Guns are just things that go "clic clic" ad kill people for me. I don't care how it looks or if the developers made them cool.

That was not the final game.

You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that?

They didn't have clips for a while, but they do now. They even pop out when you reload and everything.

Is Alpha Protocol supposed to be realistic? It seemed to be a game in the vein of classic and modern spy thrillers.

Now that I think about it, this explains the unlimited ammo earlier in development.

Has James Bond ever run out of ammo? Has Jason Borne? They always have exactly enough and then lose their gun when it comes to do hand-to-hand fighting.

I'm not sure what that has to do with weapons not having clips though.

Watching people fire weapons without clips is like watching people drive around in cars without wheels.

Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

or that dont run out of gas!

i always wanted to see a 'movie' where the cop gets in a car and 2 miles ahead it runs out of gas.

That'd be more realistic.

It didn't have anything to do with lack of weapon clips; I was talking about unlimited ammo.

I think it's possible to provide challenges and difficulty while still following the various unrealistic conceits of the spy thriller genre, e.g, the character has unlimited ammo until a dramatically appropriate time, at which point he runs out, and must survive the situation through other means.

Gotcha, MC. SOmehow I missed the transition from clips to unlimited ammo.
