Now where did I put my pulse rifle? Its time to hunt bugs!

IG. We kick ass and not even take names.

Billed as the "the first title to be launched in SEGA's forthcoming series of Aliens games,"

Oh Jimmy, you were so funny.

Don't let me down.

From habit he lifts his watch; it shows him its blank face.

Zero hour, Snowman thinks. Time to go.

Yay, can't wait to wall-crawl all over the place and then eat some poor dude's juicy brains.

There better be an awesome campaign as well featuring the facehugger and chestburster stages...

This game better be ass hard and ass fast like the first one. Last thing a need is a grandma's walkthrough.

I liked the second one. Minus the horrible hive level where I had no idea where to go or even which way was up...

The second one was surely better designed, but I liked the overall feeling and art style from the first one more. AvP2 looked a bit too cartoonish.

I can see that, the robot suit was pretty stupid as well.

They nailed the lighting perfectly. Lighting is imo the most important thing graphics wise for an Aliens game.

My comp will die a painful death if I'll ever try to run this game. Looks neat!

AvP 1 was a much scarier and unpredictable game.

AvP 2 had a much better story.

Hoping this one gets both aspects down, though AvP 1 got the most important part IMHO.

looks like this will be the final nail to the coffin of my old PC

time to get finaly some quadcore before the launch of AvP3...

It is interesting that they actually rolled out with some 1920x1200 in-engine shots with nice AA instead of some shoddy 360 pictures that look like generic FPS nr 4325. Lighting can really up the horror atmosphere(along with sound).

I hate this game.

"Well, overkill is my middle name. And my last name. And all of my other names as well!"

Not a whole lot of info, unfortunately. :/

dude, E3 is almost started. Then the gates of info shall flow and drown us all.

I've never played any of these games. I have only played a handful of FPS's. Are these (older) titles still available... like say Steam or?

Unfortunately Fox has apparently locked all their good games into their capacious basement so that no one could enjoy the greatness of AvP or No One Lives Forever.

Well frack. Thanks for the info. Actually... I think my brother has the first AvP. Maybe he still has it.

I'm sure you could find them all of Amazon/Ebay, but I don't know how expensive they are. They did do a pretty long run with the Sierra Bestseller release.

Nice! I want many stages for the Aliens, facehugger, chestbuster, 'young alien', mature alien and king/queen would all be nice stages to experience! :D

I agree, it was pretty interesting to sneak around the ventilation ducts and being being very vulnerable.

It was also really funny how you got the missions as an alien and learned the story by listening in on people, very NOLF-ish. I hope they find and interesting way to handle that.

Yeah, I hope they manage to tell the story completely cutscene-free through ingame-talks and events.

I'm looking forward to the alien roundtable where they all sit in a circle on the ceiling and make funny noises with subtitles for us poor humans.
