I've spent hours playing with this thing. Awesome time killer.

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

That is AWESOME.

I like simpler, so here's my first quickie.

You're so symmetrical. :sorcerer:

Similar to my first but more refined - I just made some adjustments so it's more pleasant sounding/less discordant (to me). I wanted a new-agey sound and I think I did it better that time.

I'll try to make something fancier later. Not enough time right now.

Edit: I like this one better, much simpler and less chaotic 36864,0,16384,32768,74752,64,0,0,128,0,16512,64,256,4352,256,0

There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. More data must be gleaned and further collated before a sufficient judgment can be reached.

It's too tinkly for me ... but definitely better tech-designed than what I'd probably ever come up with. I just go by what my ears like. heh

PS - some of the ones people posted far down the page are pretty awesome.

Neat. I tried to set up a basic iii - vi - ii - V vamp on the bottom, and put a basic melody (with harmony in thirds) above it.

So this is some kind of music//math tech exercise thingie or something, isn't it? No wonder I don't get it.

I tried something more symmetrical, but it means nothing to me. heh

Right click on the grid, copy and paste here.

Here's my second try:

I think it's based on a pentatonic scale.

Hhaha, I find I start out with something for the beat, and then tweak things and move things into an off beat (assuming 4/4 time)

I love playing with this. I usually just start with one note, then another, then build from their. It's a lot of fun. I wish there was a way we could record this or build upon it to make full tunes.

Like this? :lol:http://crimsonkeep.com/downloads/mp3/alanschu-amlab4.mp3

Hard to edit the front/back to make it a complete smooth transition tho.

Well, I know how to record things through sndrec32. I guess I meant a more complex app that could extend to more than just 16 bars or whatever.

Can you open the page in multiple windows and just do different things in each box? I guess the play-timing would be impossible tho.

Edit: Oh NVm, I'm being a dufus again. It'd just overlap during it's repeating cycles.
