Played some Zelda. It has nice mechanics, but Christ.... it's clearly written for 5 year olds. Too childish for my taste, so I'm gonna sell it again.

Yeah about FF6. I looked at the prices and almost dropped from my seat. Sorry, but I'm not gonna fork out 50

I actually was passing a shop that sells old games a few times. Gonna make a visit there tomorrow. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they don't have these games available anymore.

I visited an old fashioned games shop in the Netherlands last year and they literally had a pile of GBA games sitting there. It had some interesting stuff like Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis.

Whoa, 50 is way too much for a GBA game. I got my copy browsing through a local Gamestop. It was decently priced at around 17.99 if I remember correctly.

Chains of Olympu- oh wait that's on the PSP.

"Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

Most PSP games are crap anyway, except MGS I suppose. But one game didn't justify a PSP purchase for me.

So, I was there today at that old juice store and asked whether they've Chrono Trigger. "Chrono Trigger? Never heard of that!". :ermm:

Looked around and found nothing of interest. They had FF4 for the GBA for 15

Oh well I forgot I could actually check out the Libro store too. Otherwise, I only buy my stuff online.

Damn you kids and your internets.

You could score some nice GBA games from your local ebay/craig's list counterpart. Otherwise you are stuck with overpriced stuff.

Tried out Final Fantasy 4 but I don't like it very much. Too childish. Oh, and why is there only one savegame slot? And when I die, why do I have to start a new game instead of just continue from the last save? Anyway, FF series is off my list.

Now I bought Etrian Odyssey and Dragon Quest 4 at ebay. Hopefully these games will be more...uh enduring.

I currently dropped Etrian Odyssee until I find enough motivation to continue with hacking and slashing all the same monsters again while descending to the lower levels... And I started a game of Lost Magic, which I highly, highly recommend. My enthusiasm for Lost Magic may be due to Heroes of Mana I played before that is a strategy game as well, but with horrible controls and without the motivation of leveling, gathering new monsters, drawing magic runes etc pp.

Again, Lost Magic is highly recommended! Story and motivations of bad guys may be represented in two senteces, sometimes "levelling" or "monster gathering" by looking for random encounters is necessary, and the art style is kiddy and not too stylish, but otherwise it has just got too good mechanics really. Top. Fun, addictive and everything.

Buying another game with kiddy graphics and story is a great idea for good old manly Morgie.

Thanks samm for the recommendation. This game is ass cheap, so I'm gonna give it a try.
And maybe you won't hate me too much if it proves tiresome :p
