*moderatly intrigued*

I wouldn't mind another RPG to add to my list. I need to play something else than shooters.

"Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

The Witcher II will be released on PC/Xbox360/PS3 simultaneously. It will sell really well on consoles, while the PC crowd whines about 'consolification' and 'dumbing it down' (the actual product might be different, but i am talking about the responses from the community).

Due to alleged claims of piracy, The Witcher III is released as a 'console'-only game. The PC port will be released with zero marketing a year later.

Given the game in question I can't see how the PC crowd could complain about either of those things.

Stop being overly optimistic :p

Not odd. A game like a vehicle are the sum of their parts. A game is more than just the core engine. Duh. That's why IWD, BG, and PST are all different despite all being IE games. AMAZING! SHOCKING! WOWSERS!

Same with NWN, TW, and NWN2. All games that use Aurora. All different (though NWN and NWN2 arevery, very similar). AMAZING! SHOCKING! WOWSERS!

Same with the engine that powers ME which BIO licensed. Multiple games used with the engine. And, they're all different most likely. AMAZING! SHOCKING! WOWSERS!

Males. Females. Both human. But, different. AMAZING! SHOCKING! WOWERS!

See a pattern?

It uses the same engine and that's an indisputable fact! Arguing it doesn't do anything.

Fortune favors the bald.

I don't see how the combat could get much dumber. The journal is a mess, not complicated just poorly arranged.

I though combat was the better part of TW (compared with the horrible NWN2 combat), the journal wasn't either better or worse from other games, just a bit different.

Anyway, good luck to CDProject for the console SKUs. Hope it sells well, and although they're one of the more competent RPG developers out there, I'm really not hot on a possible TW2. I hope they move on with a new non-TW project.

Last I heard their next project was going to be an original IP, more rpg/less action. That was some time ago though. So things may have changed.

Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

It's all mouse click attacks, no parries or dodging. I would expect something a little more when it's one character. NWN is a whole other bowl of wax, controlling an entire party and entirely based on stats and rolls.

Na na  na na  na na  ...

greg358 from Darksouls 3 PVP is a CHEATER.

That is all.

Apparently they are working on 3 projects, so that might be console RPG, The Witcher 2 and a new IP.

I heard they weren't really interested in doing a Witcher 2. Is that confirmed? I mean, it's cool if it is. Just hope they don't trot out mots, for the second go around. Between The Witcher (Regular) and The WItcher (ENhanced), I think its time for some new gameplay stuffs.

After working on the original for so long, then the EE, and now the console version, that's hardly surprising. All they mentioned so far is 3 projects, nothing about what they are yet.

One of that project is probably from Metropolis (which was bought ny CDProjekt). Hopefully it's some sort of a Gorky 17 sequel.

No, the comment was that CD Projekt Red has 3 projects in the works.

"Project" doesn't necessarily mean a new game. One project could have been the Enhanced Edition or the Toolset, another the PS3/X360 edition, and a third a new game.

"Project" was just the word I used. The dev said on the forum "unannounced titles", and the post was only in the past few days, so it's not the EE or the toolset.
