Walsingham Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 I collected them ages ago, when I was going through a phase of listening to war songs. I was trying to understand combat psychology better. It's only supposition, but I'd suggest that the Nazis fought so hard because the noise of fighting blanked out the songs. I'm now listening to everything in my collection with the word "ain't" in the title. It's not at all bad. I was just enjoying "Ain't got time to waste" by the Porn Theatre Ushers, remixed by Rae and Christian. It's on the Mixmag Rae & Christian album, and by God it's good. "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
Gorth Posted November 17, 2008 Author Posted November 17, 2008 Is "ain't" a real word in English? I seem to remember a songtitle called something like He ain't heavy, he's my brother. Listening to Fleetwood Mac - Gold dust Woman (Rumours album) “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein

Amentep Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Apparently I'm listening to The Andrews Sisters' "I Wanna be Loved" I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man

Dragon Lord Jones Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 guns n' roses - chinese democracy (entire cd) although it should of been released years ago ... i find it fairly enjoyable to listen to. i heard several songs before so i wasn't too surprised by the final output, but worth a listen if nothing else. take the album for what it is and not what you wanted, it's really not guns n' roses but axl's solo album per say.
