The latter half of this season has been going downhill pretty much, LOST style. I don't really see where they're going with the ending either.

 

Oh and that half-cartoon episode was just horrible.

Being a moral and upstanding citizen, I always pick up the season blu-ray boxes, so am always a bit over a season behind everybody else.

 

But yes, in addition to Chuck, this is the other on-going tv series I follow.

the whole Machine shtick is lame, but the show has it's moments. I suppose they will just go back to being an X files show now that the whole war of the worlds thing is over.

I might go back over it with Netflix, I lost interest in the first season at some point, but it sounds like it got better over time.

I thought season two was much better than the first. I enjoyed the team traveling to the alternate universe. The worst episode in the series, IMO, was the pilot.

No way that was worse than the musical episode.

I'd block it from memory too, but it serves a purpose. If there is ever a lack-luster episode I remind myself that "sure this one wasn't that great but at least it was better than THAT episode".

The redeeming quality of that episode was Anna Torv in her fifties outfit and makeup. I think she even wore lipstick!

I don't even remember that one. Must have been traumatic.

 

I think its one of the few shows that just keeps getting better. I was kinda hoping the whole soul magnet thing was a way to bring back the character of William Bell without needing Leonard Nimoy, but oh well, it was still pretty interesting.
