Krookie Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I'm going to make a poll and find out what everyone's nationality is. You're excused though Azarkon
Gorth Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Nobody asks me if I'm asian.... You are a citrus fruit. You do the bees and flower thing. “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein
walkerguy Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Azarkan is being borderline asian racist like I once was. No, I'm joking . Twitter | @Insevin
walkerguy Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 And BBC needs to get out of sensetive U.S. domestic issues. Yankers. Ha! Why did the euros change an anti-american insult into a general insult? Twitter | @Insevin

walkerguy Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 (edited) I'm joking about that the source is BBC and its about teen sex in USA. Mind your own bussiness!.... Edited March 12, 2008 by walkerguy Twitter | @Insevin
Nick_i_am Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 So the BBC website, viewed around the world, doesn't have the right to report on news from around the world despite the fact that the original poster is american? Hey, if the US news can't stay on the ball don't cry to the BBC about it. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
walkerguy Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Whatever. I don't necessarily mean it. Twitter | @Insevin
Nick_i_am Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I do! No, really. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
walkerguy Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 BBC isn't my concern. All I care about is CNN. BBC=Britain. CNN=USA. End story. Here, the BBC is nothing but a POS short program on the public broadcast channel. BBC is less biased though. Twitter | @Insevin
Guest The Architect Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Yeah, right. I mean what right does BBC have to report on the Inter-Liverpool match?! That happened in Italy, not Britain! They should mind their own business!

Azarkon Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 (edited) Seriously, I just asked if you were Asian. If you hung around here more often you'd know that everyone seems pretty cool with one another, or at least to he point where you can ask where someone is from/their nationality without some BS response. I'm just going to assume that you're embarrassed about being Asian so, you could have just said "No". I'd never know. People are usually asked about their nationalities in a more friendly context than "why, are you Asian?" as if it were a challenge of some kind. You phrased it like I must be Asian or something in order to ask the question; that's why I didn't feel compelled to offer you a proper response. But fair is fair. The answer to your question is **** yeah! Now, you got some rice for me, bitch? Oh look, I've gone out of character Edited March 12, 2008 by Azarkon There are doors
Azarkon Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Whites, African americans and hispanics are the three biggest ethnic groups in america. Obviously the article didn't feel the need to expand further than that. But it'd be interesting to know how cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds affect the percentages. Without that information, it's hard to judge what the source of this problem is, and we're left scratching our heads. There are doors

If I remember correctly, HPV occurs naturally in a large percentage of humanity but may be passed along sexually. I'll bet these media maggots didn't even check on the likelihood that this is a 'normal' event. With the media slurping up the public butt for ratings, I wouldn't wonder too long at this since butt-sniffing seems to be the public norm for the media. And guess what!?!...you people are believing it in the usual sheep-like manner. This story reeks like recently squeezed manure. It would certainly lead to increased sales of the 'anti-virus' injection offered by the friends of Baby-Doc Bush. Golly Gee, I'm shocked if this is true. Let me run down to the local clinic and get a HPV shot for my daughter!!! Gimme a freeking break! Don't let others do your thinking for you! Ruminations... When a man has no Future, the Present passes too quickly to be assimilated and only the static Past has value.
Walsingham Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I agree that lumping in HPV seems like over-egging the pudding to me. I know it's serious, but its also crying wolf over much more serious diseases like syphilis and HIV. A far more startling statistic in the UK is that some 75% of teenagers don't use barrier contraception. To anyone who lived through the 1980s this is like ambling about the parapet of a trench when a sniper is around. It's not even like teh odl days when people were embarassed to buy contraceptives, or even that you have to pay for them. The doctor will give you them for free in our socialist paradise. Deadly_Nightshade Posted March 12, 2008 Author Posted March 12, 2008 And BBC needs to get out of sensetive U.S. domestic issues. Why? Do they not have the right to report on a study that was originally done by the CDC? Also, I looked into the report, and the data collection was started before the HPV Vaccine was approved, or even submitted for testing, so the current number of cases might be less. "Geez. It's like we lost some sort of bet and ended up saddled with a bunch of terrible new posters on this forum." -Hurlshot

"Everyone matters" has got nothing to do with it. Edited March 12, 2008 by kirottu This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
Nick_i_am Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Oviously saying 'the article didn't feel the need' meant 'This is also my opinon!' If you're going to try and be witty then go ahead, but my advice is that you also learn to read. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
walkerguy Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I see. You've got some darker views toward life. In your perspective, you are completely right. But your perspective is corrupted. I may be wrong, but thats the initial impression I've got. Twitter | @Insevin
