Big Bottom Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 I guess this calls for 1d6 minutes of silence. The best flash game ever!
damonors Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Is it because he saw the previews of 4e? OR..... Don't we have to wait until he gets to -10 hit points? OR..... Did he drop any good loot? OR..... etc. etc. etc.
Magister Lajciak Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 This is sad news. The entire gaming community owes the man a huge debt of gratitude. May you rest in peace Gary Gygax!
steelfiredragon Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 (edited) Rest In Peace and so passes Gary Gygax, a moment of silence for the creator of Mordinkainen , Melf and others Edited March 4, 2008 by steelfiredragon Strength through Mercy Head Torturor of the Cult of the Anti-gnome
Musopticon? Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Too bad he failed that last saving throw. I would have liked to hear his sentiments on 4th edition. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai. So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds
Jediphile Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 My condolances to his family and P&P role-players everywhere. While I have at times voiced critical responses to Mr. Gygax's statements of the past, that should not be taken as a sign of disrespect - one of the fathers of RPG is gone... May he rest in peace. Fionavar Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=49126 I suspect this will be a conversation larger than just PnP. This is indeed sad news. The universe is change; your life is what our thoughts make it - Marcus Aurelius (161)
