January 4, 200818 yr Im happy I read his books at such a young age that the whole pulp-fantasy crap didnt dilute the experience. But i think itll be atleast 30 years until people can enjoy Tolkiens books for what they are again, with movies and dozens of copycat wrotyers diluting the experience.
