SteveThaiBinh
I stayed up until 03:00 this morning watching an old BBC docudrama called Threads. It was made in 1984 and shows what would happen before, during, and after a nuclear exchange. It was absolutely horrifying. Very powerful writing overcame the pretty poor video quality. I remember that. I wasn't allowed to watch it when it first came out (too young ), but I saw it years later. Very troubling and very well-written. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." My only consolation was that now I'm in the TA I have a CBRN suit in the dresser. Although given the aftermath perhaps it would be more comfy to just top oneself. Actually, on reflection my other comfort is the large reserve of pie fat I have about my middle. "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Sand
No, actually, it didn't. I don't see how hunting for christmas presents compares to running for your life. Idiot. Sand
That is why my jaw dropped to the floor. I was speechless, unable to defend my point. Humodour
I guess there's a twisted merit in that. Perhaps if people didn't take these shootings so seriously the future shooters wouldn't find it so "glamorous". thepixiesrock
Hey guys, why don't you just talk about soemthing else. It's fine that people find different ways to deal with different situtations, but lets be respectful to other people and not talk about it. Everyone wins. Humodour
I just reviewed some mods for my latest run through of BG2 (it'd probably only actually be my 4th or so). I actually quite like the Gibberlings 3 mods. For the most part they seem logical and restrained (biggest problem most mods have is being unbalanced). Contemplating playing this (slightly?) overpowered class with Ascension installed: http://www.gibberlings3.net/geomantic/ but it might be just a little too overpowered, even given its penalties. Have a job interview tomorrow so I should hit the sack. Ciao!

thepixiesrock
Well, you'd need to be strong to be bouncer, flexible and passable in darkly lit rooms to be a stripper, and you don't need any skills to be DJ. So I guess you should try and be a DJ. Tale
I was thinking more about a research assistant in the Antarctic. Because I have no musical aptitude. LadyCrimson
I spent an hour fooling around with a program called CrazyTalk. Very easy to use, but hard to make a 'good' animation. Cute software toy, but I don't see much use for it overall. I also thought I'd change my avatar into something more holiday-spirited ... ok, ok, fine, I just wanted to change it. My whitish cat in the other avatar died back in July so it's time for something different. Now I'm going to eat some of that frozen yogurt I bought. Vanilla-Berry swirl, yummy. “Things are as they are.
