Xard Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Reason I'm asking is rather cosmetic one. The Nameless One looks like brute, something like scarred and battered Conan. However, PS:T has quite "low" point buy and WIS/INT/CHA are more important than physical attributes by far. But with muscles like TNO has, having strenght of 10-12 is ridiculous. Same with con. Now, as game isn't very combat heavy it doesn't matter really what my stats are. This (I'd think STR 16, DEX 14 and CON 16 would be right. Well, maybe DEX less, but 12 at least ) is purely "vanity" thing. Does they exist? I haven't found anything. Generally speaking I hate cheating but then, normally I ain't making most muscled guy if I'm going to give him strenght of 10 or such! And I've completed the game before, so it's "ok" for me to cheat. If there had been two phenotypes for TNO... So, any help? How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them. - OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)
Tale Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Yes, they exist. Save file editors, I believe, are what I used. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Xard Posted November 14, 2007 Author Posted November 14, 2007 (edited) Do you have any links? Edited November 14, 2007 by Xard How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. Tale Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 http://www.frostportal.com/IESE.html I don't know if this is the one I used or not. If I were home, I could just look in my downloaded applications directory. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
mr insomniac Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Platter's Torment Fixpack This site used to have the Tome O' Cheats available. The Tome was an item you could keep in your inventory and use in-game to raise/lower stats or give yourself spell scrolls or healing items, etc. It was kinda cool. But I don't see it in the downloads section anymore. Still, there are lots of other good things on the site to check out. Aha... just found Bootstrike.com. Didn't think this site was still running, but glad it is, as there's some good stuff here too... including the Tome O' Cheats and the Restoration Pack. I took this job because I thought you were just a legend. Just a story. A story to scare little kids. But you're the real deal. The demon who dares to challenge God. So what the hell do you want? Don't seem to me like you're out to make this stinkin' world a better place. Why you gotta kill all my men? Why you gotta kill me? Nothing personal. It's just revenge.
Tigranes Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Hmph. I was tempted in the Dead Nations. I'm findingl ittle things I missed (and some are so obvious I have no idea how I missed them) - like the Puzzled and Riddling skeletons in the Dead Nations. Apparently 15INT is too low to crack the riddles, and I'm dying to know what happens if you thwart him. Ah well. Also, I can never find Xachariah. Let's Play: Icewind Dale Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Icewind Dale II Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Divinity II (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG1 (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG2 (In Progress)

You need a hint for that latter? “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. Gorth Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 You need to "break down" Dak'kon... I can't remember if you need to get all the circles of Zertimon first, but the trigger is, have him translate what Fell tells you (even if you are perfectly able to speak to Fell yourself). You'll notice that he misrepresents something deliberately. Confront him and ask why he lies to you. That will lead to a conversation where you get more info about previous companions. You can then find Xacharias in the mortuary as one of the zombies on the ground level. Edit: Presuming that Stale Mary has taught you to speak to zombies or you have other means to do so. Edit2: Added spoiler tag. Not sure if really necessary for this game, but just in case “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. This includes party members, so you have to remove everyone else, then enter an empty building and then talk to Dak'kon. EDIT: About the riddling skeleton; if Nameless One's INT is too low to figure out the riddles, you can boost it with cranium rat charms. I believe the dead nation merchant has 3 for sale, and their effect is cumulative. Edited November 15, 2007 by mr insomniac I took this job because I thought you were just a legend. Just a story. Atreides Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Go for the Tome of Cheats. Spreading beauty with my katana.
Tigranes Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Well I'm already in the Lower Ward now, but I will try the rat tails when I go back there for Xacharias. Thanks Gorth & insomniac - I never thought to have anybody else translate Fell. One of these days I really need to play eeeeevil at PS:T, just so I can sell a companion to slavery for the Tome of Pestilential Thingamagicky. ramza Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 I started a new game a few month ago but I quit a few days later... The graphics are way too horrid... anyway, I may give it a try with those cheats... Just a question: I know I am a bit extreme but I killed all the Mortuary denizens before leaving the building... Unfortunately, I realized that there are a few sidequests later in the game that take place there... Did I mess up? Should I start a new game? "Ooo, squirrels, Boo! I know I saw them! Quick, throw nuts!" -Minsc "I am a well-known racist in the Realms! Elves? Dwarves? Ha! Kill'em all! Humans rule! -Me Volourn will never grow up, he's like the Black Peter Pan, here to tell you that it might be great to always be a child, but everybody around is gonna hate it.

ramza Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Does this mean that if my character dies, everything will become like before? "Ooo, squirrels, Boo! I know I saw them! mr insomniac Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 No. The rest of Sigil doesn't forget about you, as you can discover by speaking to random hive dwellers out in the streets.
