...wow. Check this out.

You share your story with the inventor, who listens with great interest. After hearing your tale and noting your combat expertise it becomes clear that you, Insert Name, are the Chosen One mentioned in an ancient prophecy; the one who will either bring lasting peace to the galaxy... or tear it apart. Next, the inventor informs you that the attack on your station was not a random event, but rather that the gun-toting cyborg warriors were actually looking to eliminate you before you could realize your destiny and the role you will play in shaping the future of the galaxy.

...

With your party now complete, you venture to another space station to replenish your supply of healing potions and learn a few new spells for your magic-using characters. At a nearby bar you encounter a well-meaning Wookie who apparently got himself into a little bit of trouble with a local group of thugs. Talking to him opens up an exciting open-ended side quest where you can either help him solve his problems or sell him out for some extra cash. Being the evil bastard that you are, you of course decide to take the Wookie's money, kill him and then kill the guys that were trying to get the money from him and take their money as well. This quest is simple and ultimately pointless, but for all you know it could have far-reaching potential to the outcome of your story. You encounter a couple more strikingly similar moral dilemmas along the way, but eventually stop caring enough to waste your time listening to everyone's problems.

...

You continue your quest for the magical gem, this time journeying to a confusing labyrinth, where hordes of undead quadripedal monsters and a fierce axe-wielding minotaur are waiting for you. At first these stronger enemies beat your ass, forcing you to return to the World Map to try and raise your Experience by slaughtering some less-powerful robot soldiers. However, in your aimless wandering you also come across a Poisonous Laser Rifle of Speed +2 in a super-secret hidden treasure chest, which helps you even the odds and recover the third gem with little difficulty.

...

During your journey, you've managed to make small talk with your party members and at various bars and space stations throughout the galaxy you've been able to complete small mini-quests for the dashing scoundrel with a caustic wit, the powerful wizard with strange powers, the weird super-strong alien warrior who's smarter than he looks, the retired Galactic Naval Academy professor and the well-meaning vigilante that have ultimately made their lives complete and made them completely loyal to you and your cause. After the last level though, you are given a touching cut-scene where the tomboyish starship mechanic babe finally professes her undying love for you. Before you can return the sentiment though, your ship comes under attack from the forces of the cyborg General. Your team scrambles to fight off the invaders, but you're hopelessly outnumbered and forced to surrender when the cyborg General takes the tomboyish starship mechanic babe hostage and threatens to kill her if you don't throw down your weapons.

I understand full well that this is a pardoy/satire of actual RPG plots...but, I don't know, I sorta...well...enjoyed it. Hey, it's better than actually grinding in an RPG. I can see the generator took some inspiration from the first KOTOR game as well.

You can set gerne, your alignment (of good or evil), and also backgrounds and music to go along with you reading it.

After a brief CGI introduction you begin the game as Death 2.0, a starfighter pilot assigned to a Galactic Navy capital ship. You awake one morning to the ship's alarm and quickly discover that you are under attack by elite special forces troops. You valiantly try to defend your ship, but there are simply too many of them. You are forced to flee or you will certainly die from the enemy onslaught. With the help of a slightly nerdy scientist babe and a relatively lenient tutorial level you manage to fight your way to safety, but you can only watch as your ship is completely destroyed.

Desperate for answers, you and the slightly nerdy scientist babe decide that the best course of action would be to travel to the secret enclave of a group of intergalactic guardians. You head out immediately, battling a few small groups of robotic alien space spiders along the way. Luckily none of them seem to be too much trouble and in a short time you arrive at the Guardian enclave a few Experience Points richer.

You share your story with the Commander of the Guardians, who listens with great interest. After hearing your tale and consulting an ancient tome it becomes clear that you, Death 2.0, are the Chosen One mentioned in an ancient prophecy; the one who will either bring lasting peace to the galaxy... or tear it apart. Next, the Commander of the Guardians informs you that the attack on your ship was not a random event, but rather that the elite special forces troops were actually looking to eliminate you before you could realize your destiny and the role you will play in shaping the future of the galaxy.

Then the Commander of the Guardians informs you that an interstellar corporation bent of galactic domination has raised a private army, and the power-hungry corporate CEO will stop at nothing to control the galaxy. Currently, the nefarious corporate CEO is searching for four magical statues that, according to legend, will make him and his forces completely unstoppable. Of course, the Commander of the Guardians says that you and the slightly nerdy scientist babe are the only ones capable of stopping this evil force. Motivated by hatred for those who destroyed your ship, you agree to seek out the four statues and claim them before they fall into the nefarious corporate CEO's hands. Once you have them in your possession, you can bring them back to the Guardian enclave and the Commander of the Guardians will seal them away forever. To assist you in your mission, the Commander of the Guardians introduces you to a rugged former space pirate who's changed his tune who will aid you on your epic quest. Ready for action, you gear up and head out immediately in a mid-sized starship.

Your search for the first statue takes you to the mountain lair of a powerful beast, where you fight through waves of stone beasts and giant spiders before finally battling a five-headed hydra that shoots a different elemental power out of each head. Along the way, you discover a strange pendant lying on the side of the path. Not far off you find a dark mage who shoots lightning out of his fingers frantically searching for something. You present the pendant to him and he immediately decides that fate has brought you together. The dark mage who shoots lightning out of his fingers takes the item and agrees to join you in your mission.

With the first boss defeated, your ever-growing party visits a space station where you upgrade some of your weapons and equipment and take a trip to a seedy local bar. Inside, you meet a alien warrior who has abandoned his cause who's life was also ruined by the nefarious corporate CEO. When presented with an opportunity to exact some revenge and wreak havoc while doing so, he signs on to aid you in your quest.

After outfitting your team with as many upgrades and healing items as you can afford, you then head off to a maze-like sewer system beneath a long-abandoned city where you face some gross insect monsters and stronger giant spiders. The second statue is guarded by a disgusting green plague beast. After some difficulty, you emerge victorious from this encounter.

As you leave this realm, you meet a nerdy computer programmer with exceptional hacking skills who claims he had an important device stolen from him by monsters. Luckily, you just so happen to have found this item in the last level. You give the nerdy computer programmer with exceptional hacking skills the device and in exchange for your help, he agrees to join up with your group.

With two of the five statues in your possession, you set off to continue your mission. However, before you can get far, your entire party is ambushed and captured by a notorious band of space pirates. At first things look bad, but their leader, a half-crazed cutlass-waving space pirate captain, seems to be smitten with the slightly nerdy scientist babe and not only lets you go free but agrees to join up with you.

You continue your quest for the magical statue, this time journeying to a dark swamp, where hordes of lizard-man warriors and a mysterious wraith are waiting for you. At first these stronger enemies beat your ass, forcing you to return to the World Map to try and raise your Experience by slaughtering some less-powerful gun-toting desert raiders. However, in your aimless wandering you also come across a Scourging Sniper Rifle of Terror +3 in a super-secret hidden treasure chest, which helps you even the odds and recover the third statue with little difficulty.

As soon as you take possession of the third statue, you are shown a brief cutscene where your party is confronted by the high-tech gadget-heavy bounty hunter Krylar, who was sent by the nefarious corporate CEO to take the statues from you. There is a brief battle, and you are able to defeat him far more easily than you would have expected to. However, he is merely wounded and escapes the battle with some witty banter about how he'll be ready for you next time.

Unfazed by your encounter, your party pushes on to find the final statue, this time journeying to the Nutronium mines of Zergon-6. There you encounter hostile miners that have been driven insane before a confrontation with a giant beast mutated by radioactive Neutronium deposits. This level is incredibly difficult and insanely long, but you eventually manage to get through it. With all the statues in your possession, you set out for the Desecrated Temple to kill the nefarious corporate CEO and complete your quest for vengeance.

During your journey, you've managed to make small talk with your party members and at various bars and space stations throughout the galaxy you've been able to complete small mini-quests for the rugged former space pirate who's changed his tune, the dark mage who shoots lightning out of his fingers, the alien warrior who has abandoned his cause, the nerdy computer programmer with exceptional hacking skills and the half-crazed cutlass-waving space pirate captain that have ultimately made their lives complete and made them completely loyal to you and your cause. After the last level though, you are given a touching cut-scene where the slightly nerdy scientist babe finally professes her undying love for you. Before you can return the sentiment though, your ship comes under attack from the forces of the high-tech gadget-heavy bounty hunter Krylar. Your team scrambles to fight off the invaders, but you're hopelessly outnumbered and forced to surrender when the high-tech gadget-heavy bounty hunter Krylar takes the slightly nerdy scientist babe hostage and threatens to kill her if you don't throw down your weapons.

Several elite special forces troops surround your party as the high-tech gadget-heavy bounty hunter Krylar demands you hand over the magical statues. Despite the slightly nerdy scientist babe's protest, you do so. When you hand them over the high-tech gadget-heavy bounty hunter Krylar gloats, 'Once I bring these back to my master, our victory will be complete'. When questioned about the items, he tells you that since you're going to die anyways, he'll let you in on what's going on. The magical statues are actually going to be used to resurrect an Ancient Evil Warrior. Once the Warrior has been summoned, the nefarious corporate CEO plans to use his powerful dark magic to steal his soul and absorb his power, thus making the nefarious corporate CEO virtually invincible. Having divulged this incredibly unpredictable plot twist to you, the high-tech gadget-heavy bounty hunter Krylar then takes the slightly nerdy scientist babe and escapes with her while ordering the assembled elite special forces troops to destroy you. You are attacked, but after a difficult battle you manage to defeat them all. Unfortunately, the high-tech gadget-heavy bounty hunter Krylar is long gone.

Once you have finished off the elite special forces troops, your attention turns to saving the slightly nerdy scientist babe and stopping the nefarious corporate CEO before he can complete his nefarious plot. Luckily, the dark mage who shoots lightning out of his fingers is well versed in the legend of the Evil Warrior. The dark mage who shoots lightning out of his fingers informs you that the Evil Warrior terrorized the galaxy 1,000 years ago, but was finally defeated by a group of noble heroes who used a fabled weapon known as the Super Shotgun to slay him. You decide to find this weapon before going after the nefarious corporate CEO directly, in case you end up having to deal with the Evil Warrior as well.

Your search for the Super Shotgun takes you to a once-formidable installation now overrun with unspeakable horrors, the weapon's last known resting place. You journey there and are met by numerous shadowy demon monsters and other zombie-like creatures, which you must defeat before battling the weapon's guardian, a a giant multi-armed alien monster. After an intense fight, you emerge with the Super Shotgun.

At long last you set out for the Desecrated Temple and your final confrontation with the nefarious corporate CEO. From the moment you arrive, you must wade into hordes of elite special forces troops, mowing them down with the Super Shotgun and the fact that you're at least thirty experience levels and twenty hours of gameplay more powerful than you were when you first faced them. Tense action music is playing as you slaughter the ones responsible for the destruction of your ship and head towards the ultimate final duel.

After clearing several rooms, you are once again face-to-face with the high-tech gadget-heavy bounty hunter Krylar. After a terse dialogue, the two of you square off one-on-one. You notice that he has new abilities and is way more powerful than the first time you faced him. You are taken off-guard at first, and are really getting a beat down. However, as things are looking bleak you cast the spell Summon Big Ass Dragon and a big ass dragon lands on top of the high-tech gadget-heavy bounty hunter Krylar. You then quickly go on the offensive and use the Super Shotgun to explode the face of him.

With the high-tech gadget-heavy bounty hunter Krylar dead, you rescue the slightly nerdy scientist babe and the two of you are reunited. However, there is no time to waste... you rush through the final door and face the nefarious corporate CEO, who has already begun to resurrect the Evil Warrior. Upset at seeing your entrance, the nefarious corporate CEO decides to finally deal with you once and for all. Your team squares off against this threat and after a difficult battle against an incredibly powerful enemy capable of killing your weakest party member in about two hits, you manage to emerge victorious.

However, there's no time for celebration. After a brief respite to heal your characters, there is a cutscene where the nefarious corporate CEO uses his last bit of energy to complete the resurrection ritual, bringing back the Evil Warrior! You're then thrown headfirst into an INSANE boss battle, where the Warrior uses all sorts of crazy spells and powers against you. Explosions, lightning, fire and all kinds of stuff are flying all around the place and shaking the entire board, but ultimately you are able to use the power of the Super Shotgun to defeat the Warrior in all four of his various humongous forms and seize control of the galaxy for yourself, fulfilling your destiny as the Chosen One. You are rewarded with a pre-rendered full-motion CGI video showing you absorbing the soul and power of the Warrior and transforming into a demigod ready to crush all those who dare oppose you.

Cute.

I tried a few different settings ... the story is pretty much the same each time, tho.

After a brief CGI introduction you begin the game as Jareth Cutestory, a planetary colonist living on a settlement at the edge of the galaxy. You have been raised on this backwater planet, secretly dreaming for more adventure and excitement. One morning you return from gathering resources to discover your settlement in flames, the victim of a sneak attack by heavily-armed space marines. You valiantly try to defend your colony, but there are simply too many of them. You are forced to flee or you will certainly die from the enemy onslaught. With the help of a mysterious humanoid alien babe with orange skin and a relatively lenient tutorial level you manage to fight your way to safety, but you can only watch as your colony is utterly destroyed.

Desperate for answers, you and the mysterious humanoid alien babe with orange skin decide that the best course of action would be to travel to the remote home of your childhood mentor. You head out immediately, battling a few small groups of weak alien troops along the way. Luckily none of them seem to be too much trouble and in a short time you arrive at your mentor's home a few Experience Points richer.

You share your story with your mentor, who listens with great interest. After hearing your tale and consulting the ancient histories it becomes clear that you, Jareth Cutestory, are the Chosen One mentioned in an ancient prophecy; the one who will either bring lasting peace to the galaxy... or tear it apart. Next, your mentor informs you that the attack on your colony was not a random event, but rather that the heavily-armed space marines were actually looking to eliminate you before you could realize your destiny and the role you will play in shaping the future of the galaxy.

Then your mentor informs you that a rogue space marine detachment has acquired some sort of advanced alien technology and will now stop at nothing to conquer the galaxy. Currently, the insane space marine Captain is searching for four fabled runestones that, according to legend, will make him and his forces completely unstoppable. Of course, your mentor says that you and the mysterious humanoid alien babe with orange skin are the only ones capable of stopping this evil force. Motivated by a sense of duty as the Chosen One, you agree to seek out the four runestones and claim them before they fall into the insane space marine Captain's hands. Once you have them in your possession, you can bring them back to your mentor's home and your mentor will seal them away forever. To assist you in your mission, your mentor introduces you to a deep-voiced wayward loner anti-hero who will aid you on your epic quest. Ready for action, you gear up and head out immediately in a mid-sized starship.

Your search for the first runestone takes you to the barren wastes of Ashar, where you fight through waves of crazy-looking bird-like creatures and giant spiders before finally battling a fire golem. Along the way, you see a young girl with exceptional psionic powers surrounded by enemy soldiers. You rush to help her, but she casts a powerful spell that blasts the monsters to pieces before you can get there. Impressed by this performance, you decide to recruit her to join you in your misssion.

With the first boss defeated, your ever-growing party visits a space station where you upgrade some of your weapons and equipment and take a trip to a seedy local bar. Inside, you decide to speak with the barkeep to see if he has any useful information. However, before you get very far, a group of evil-looking black-robed assassins bust into the bar with their weapons drawn. They scan the room for a second before rushing to attack a tough-as-nails space marine who was sitting alone at a corner table. You decide to help him and in a brief battle the two of you manage to defeat the would-be assassins. In exchange for your help and a ticket out of this system, the tough-as-nails space marine agrees to aid you in your quest.

After outfitting your team with as many upgrades and healing items as you can afford, you then head off to the caverns behind a two hundred foot tall waterfall where you face some ice-shooting imp demons and stronger giant spiders. The second runestone is guarded by the wraith-like spirit of an insane drowned viking. After some difficulty, you emerge victorious from this encounter.

As you leave this realm, you meet a grizzled former ship's captain with an axe to grind in an old ruined temple. You approach him and discover that he was captured by monsters but managed to escape by hiding out in the ruins. In exchange for your help and a ride out of here, the grizzled former ship's captain with an axe to grind agrees to join up with you.

With two of the five runestones in your possession, you set off to continue your mission. However, before you can get far, your entire party is ambushed and captured by a corrupt local magistrate. You and your party are thrown into jail where you meet a young orphan stowaway adept at pickpocketing who you quickly become friends with. As luck would have it, he is actually the leader of a notorious thieves' guild currently on the way to rescue him. Before long, the notorious thieves' guild shows up and there is a brief level where you all break out of the prison. When you finally get to safety, the young orphan stowaway adept at pickpocketing decides to join you and help you complete your mission.

With your party now complete, you venture to another space station to replenish your supply of healing potions and learn a few new spells for your magic-using characters. At a nearby bar you encounter a well-meaning Ferengi who apparently got himself into a little bit of trouble with a local group of thugs. Talking to him opens up an exciting open-ended side quest where you can either help him solve his problems or sell him out for some extra cash. Being the honorable hero that you are, you of course decide to tell the thugs to lay off the Ferengi. They try to fight you, but you slaughter them easily. This quest is simple and ultimately pointless, but for all you know it could have far-reaching potential to the outcome of your story. You encounter a couple more strikingly similar moral dilemmas along the way, but eventually stop caring enough to waste your time listening to everyone's problems.

You continue your quest for the fabled runestone, this time journeying to a confusing labyrinth, where hordes of undead quadripedal monsters and a fierce axe-wielding minotaur are waiting for you. At first these stronger enemies beat your ass, forcing you to return to the World Map to try and raise your Experience by slaughtering some less-powerful enemy Mechs. However, in your aimless wandering you also come across a Flawless Needle Gun of Flame +2 in a super-secret hidden treasure chest, which helps you even the odds and recover the third runestone with little difficulty.

As soon as you take possession of the third runestone, you are shown a brief cutscene where your party is confronted by the sadistic space marine sergeant, who was sent by the insane space marine Captain to take the runestones from you. There is a brief battle, and you are able to defeat him far more easily than you would have expected to. However, he is merely wounded and escapes the battle with some witty banter about how he'll be ready for you next time.

Unfazed by your encounter, your party pushes on to find the final runestone, this time journeying to the inside of a giant planet-eating robot's head. There you encounter several powerful defense bots before a confrontation with a mad scientist aided by the automated robot internal defense systems. This level is incredibly difficult and insanely long, but you eventually manage to get through it. With all the runestones in your possession, you set out for your mentor's home to seal them away forever and prevent anyone from ever obtaining such incredible power.

During your journey, you've managed to make small talk with your party members and at various bars and space stations throughout the galaxy you've been able to complete small mini-quests for the deep-voiced wayward loner anti-hero, the young girl with exceptional psionic powers, the tough-as-nails space marine, the grizzled former ship's captain with an axe to grind and the young orphan stowaway adept at pickpocketing that have ultimately made their lives complete and made them completely loyal to you and your cause. Several heavily-armed space marines surround your party as the sadistic space marine sergeant demands you hand over the fabled runestones. Despite the mysterious humanoid alien babe with orange skin's protest, you do so. When you hand them over the sadistic space marine sergeant gloats, 'Thanks for finding these for me'. When questioned about the items, he tells you that since you're going to die anyways, he'll let you in on what's going on. The young girl with exceptional psionic powers informs you that the Dark Dragon terrorized the galaxy 1,000 years ago, but was finally defeated by a group of noble heroes who used a fabled weapon known as the Plasma Blade to slay it. Your search for the Plasma Blade takes you to the ancient ruins of Colony 428C, the weapon's last known resting place. You journey there and are met by numerous weapon-toting undead colonists, which you must defeat before battling the weapon's guardian, a the spirit of a mysterious force determined to destroy you. After an intense fight, you emerge with the Plasma Blade.

You then quickly go on the offensive and use the Plasma Blade to finish him.

With the sadistic space marine sergeant dead, you rescue the mysterious humanoid alien babe with orange skin and the two of you are reunited. You are rewarded with a pre-rendered full-motion CGI video showing you escaping the crumbling ruins of the Fortress of Ultimate Evil with the Plasma Blade in one hand and the mysterious humanoid alien babe with orange skin on your arm.
