Just a thought about how romance should work in game. After getting the girl the character is encouraged to spend skillpoints in areas such as 'sweater and career management'. There should also be subquests such as 'strolling in the park', and 'meeting the parents'.

They should institute a minigame that kicks in every time the g/f asks if something makes her ass look fat, with the difficulty being determined by how much weight the object actually adds. Success yields a successful lie.

I should be given the choice of beating her and telling her nobody else will love her for how fat she is.

I don't terribly look forward to dating game mechanics in an rpg.
