I dont really care what Obsidian's other projects are, but I am interested to know if they intend to make a "the black hound" module or expansion pack for NWN2. What will happen? BLAH! Why don't YOU make a Jefferson mod for NwN2? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A Jefferson mod for NWN2 would certainly be something I'd get behind, especially given the upsurge in "episodic" gaming as of late (which would work for a long campaign) but all things considered I'd much prefer an official development not much chance o' that, though. ramza
Sawyer has never excluded the possibility of developping either an official expansion pack or unofficial mod. I really hope that he will pursue his ambitions since he is the most suitable person for this (he DID write project jefferson's story after all). I am just asking for one last time. But hope has not faded yet... "Ooo, squirrels, Boo! I know I saw them! Quick, throw nuts!" -Minsc "I am a well-known racist in the Realms! Elves? Dwarves? Ha! Kill'em all! Kaftan Barlast
It would be really nice if Josh would do it as a sideproject(even better as an official expansion), problem is that he probably wont have time to do it. But if he would allow it, Im sure there are many talented modteams who would like to do something with it. J.E. Sawyer
It would be nice to do as an independent project, but I'd have to find time for it. I don't do a lot of creative writing anymore, so I've been gearing up to participate (and possibly do a miserable job in) the National Novel Writing Month (November). twitter tyme

Gorth
It would be awesome. Unfortunately, owning the assets doesn't necessaily equal the rights to "use" them if it infringes on other trademarks, like names, settings etc. Wans't that part of the bloody mess that Interplay ended up in, with the license struggle with Atari (ironically, Atari together with Interplay being the ones who killed Jefferson) ? “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. Although I'm not sure a game as ambitious as Jefferson was could be made as an expansion. But if it's possible it would be awesome.
