Hey I'm on my first planet after telos (nar shaddaa) and I'm playing as a sith I geuss so far and my dude's turning grey? What is that about?

Grey as in facial features? It means you are doing darkside acts and you are being corrupted by the darkside.

if you wish, you can become almost as powerful as him too

 

and also, if you haven't realised already, you can gain influence over your team members & turn them to the light or the dark side they can also become dark or light jedi ( just in case you didn't know )

I still think a Dark-Side Atton looks distinguished with the greying at the temples.... think The Master from Dr Who. Disciple is ugly at any alignment.
