You dont really have tactics in BF2 or BF1942, nor Star Wars Battlefront its that kind of game, the maps are all circular shape and you just go around in ships doing whatever you want, thats basically the purpose of the game just go around and mass kill really, not much point to it or campaign. bespin,qui-gon,more force powers for each hero <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bespin was in the first one... Heros did have force powers but where limited to like 2 I reckon they, if they do make ONE LAST Battlefront just everything, Everything piled into one all the era's major battles of every movie. eg. Battle of Theed, Gungan battle thing Geonosis Battle of Coruscant Attack on Deathstar Hoth Attack on Deathstar II, Endor Just impove on those, the space battle maps could be so much better then the whole repetition of the same stuff. They did try to help improve the basic same over and over sort of style fighting in 2 where in the campaign you had to capture things and take them back ect.

Most developers cash in on the "I'M THE HERO, WATCH ME KILL 3232 GUYS" kind of games. Look at almost any WWII game before Call of Duty. Mostly, it's a one man show. Then Activision decided to put the player in a smaller role, as part of a squad, that was part of a platoon, that was part of a company, that was bart of a battalion, that was part of a regiment, that was part of a division, that was part of an army. And that game sold well. If we get another Star Wars game where you aren't a Jedi, I'd like it to be like Call of Duty. Only with lasers.

IMO <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah I suppose, But smaller maps then in Battlefront 1, Like the Dune Sea map for example, They need to focus on key things in the maps, not just for the fun of it shove in some x-wingzorz and ties. Because seriously Dune Sea was TOO small for fighter fire fights, too big to walk/run if you where infantry and moderate size for the whole moving about of tanks + at-st's. By the time you have reached the other side of the map to where the battle is, you comrades are either already dead or you reinforcement count would have been depleted. If anyone have played Call of Duty: United Offensive Multiplayer maps, like Rhinevalley, kharkov and Italy they are pretty good maps, not too big for infantry movement, not too long that tanks cant reach the other side ect. I want the same HUD system featured in Republic Commando. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That would be alright, But really that HUD was essential for the Squad Based engine, and Battlefront is just mass armies colliding and waring with eachother. Lord XAN Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Weel, they could modify it a bit. They could make those HUDs kinda like for rankings: like infantry HUD, squad commander HUD, platoon commander HUD and so on... And different HUDs for different factions. And the same for straship HUDs!

They would have to have a deep storyline w/ a cinematic here or there. More Jedi/Sith/Mandalorian/Republic heroes. Lots of maps that are of decent size. Bigger battles, the 360/PS3/PC can handle it.
