Wii specs revealed?!

Ah, the days when EGA was state of the art...

Man, I am really old.  :shifty:

Anyway, I think that it will be the games that will determine who will be top dog of the next generation of consoles, not raw power of the machines' specifications.  The one with the most innovative and fun games will be the victor, not the one with the fastest procesor or the beefiest drive, and whatnot.

If you really were old, you'd have cited CGA.

I remember playing Test Drive a long time ago. Everybody always picked the Ferrari Testarossa because it had the highest top speed, but I was the first to beat it in the Lotus Turbo Esprit

And let's not forget the green monochrome of the early Apple ][e. I was a big fan of Rescue Raiders. Choplifter eat your heart out.

I remember once I was playing Chip's Challenge and my sister came to complain that the sound (beeper, of course) was really annoying. At the time, I was completely amazed by her reaction. I didn't find beeper sound annoying at all.

I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden.

It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai.

So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds

I was playing Sun Tzu's Art of War (and the sequel War At Sea) on a Compaq AT luggable with an amber monochrome screen at a clockspeed of about 7.6MHz, IIRC (whilst on work experience at Computerland in 1983 :-" ).

Excellent game.

Still the Apple ][ had Lode Runner, even if the clock rate was approximately 1MHz. :D

Loderunner was my first game (one and two, a game on each side of the 5.25" floppy).
