WinterSun Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Since this is the third PC that Thief 2 has failed to work properly on, I've ben playing Oblivion as a thief/marksman. Sneak attacks FTW! master of my domain Pedicabo ego vos et irrumabo.

WinterSun Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 This often helps when trying to get Thief to work on modern PCs <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think it might be the dual-core processor this time. Cheers dude. master of my domain Pedicabo ego vos et irrumabo.
SteveThaiBinh Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Civ4 again. Baba yetu, yetu uliye Mbinguni yetu, yetu amina... I wonder if the games shop has Warlords yet. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
Bokishi Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 It's an unheard of game that I bought back in May which uses the FEAR engine. It's a firstperson mystery game with lots of melee combat. Here's some screens: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=610737 Current 3DMark
Pidesco Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Wasn't it a launch title for the Xbox 360? And isn't it by Monolith? That's not what what I'd call unheard of. "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian touristI am Dan Quayle of the Romans.I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands.Heja Sverige!!Everyone should cuffawkle more. The wrench is your friend.
Bokishi Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Compared to FEAR, Doom 3, and Crysis, this game is unheard of. Don't get me wrong, I like the game, and sometimes less hype is a good thing Current 3DMark
Pidesco Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Oh, I wouldn't know if the game is good or not, as I haven't played it. I'm just saying it's not unknown. alanschu Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Meh, clearly I didn't know about it. I remember it now though. For some reason, I remembered the game as Call of Cthulu though.
Dark_Raven Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 NWN. Kinda boring, dated graphics. Waiting for the second game. " Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
astr0creep Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 I was looking for Night Watch, found it, noticed it was European so I checked and found it has Starforce. http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/
Petay Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Nothing whatsoever. Desperately trying to get Rome: Total War workign though : (

Petay Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...=0entry662936 This. Rome: Total War is a DVD game, hence I can't play it at the moment.
Darque Posted August 2, 2006 Author Posted August 2, 2006 Still grinding away at morrowind I had forgotten how big this game is. <_<

Kaftan Barlast Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Im playing Rome: Total War, its very nice but Im terrible at getting the troops to line up properly on the battlefield; they tend to take up positions diagonal to the enemy instead of facing them. (Firemoth, and a few others).. not even graphics enhancers. After I'm done with this, I'll either move to Oblivion.. or replay morrowind but with the Vampire Embrace mod.
Rosbjerg Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Im playing Rome: Total War, its very nice but Im terrible at getting the troops to line up properly on the battlefield; they tend to take up positions diagonal to the enemy instead of facing them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I love when the enemy does that .. makes slaughter so much more efficient .. :D especially with heavy cavalry.. but luckily (for you) there's often more than enough time to place them properly before the enemy reaches you.. or maybe you also "spawn" right next to them? Fortune favors the bald.
Lare Kikkeli Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Broken Sword 3 Can't wait for 4, it'll probably rule. They're bringing the mouse interface back! My only worry is that it's not made by Revolution, so i hope they wont spoil anything plotwise.
Musopticon? Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 The Longest Journey is just awesome, it's just that it's obvious the devs rushed the last third of the game. Last two chapters took me 5 minutes and I'm at chapter 10 of 13 now. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food.
