metadigital Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 I like it, pleasant voice. I was also sorely tempted to merge it with a background beat track ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ... And thus, the Obsidian Band was born ... OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
Purgatorio Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 LoneWolf, It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. My first thought was it needs a Violin double stopping at discordant intervals and a chromatic scale towards the end, but everything does. Not being familiar with the original I did a search, and umm.... It sounded like screaming on the sample..... I could play the egotist violinist who plays too loud, and pokes out the eyes the of the lead singer with his bow, that is if you need more volume. Lighting trouble. S.A.S.I.S.P.G.M.D.G.S.M.B.

Baley Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 I dunno - I never pegged him as a rock aficionado. What's the question, anyway? Which of the following rocks experiences a metamorphosis?
Pidesco Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 I didn't win anything. I lost it all after two days of battling it out. >_ I was pretty close to winning about 60000 "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. Pidesco Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Uhm - don't make me google that. It's calcite... right right right? Yes, although apparently, calcite is a crystal not a rock. Or so they say. Did you get lots of booty after being on TV? >_ Well it was last week so there hasn't been time to get much booty yet. However, a friend has already promised me two lady friends from work. And one of them is easy. "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. Darth Drabek Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Wow! We have an actual celebrity on the OE boards! But the real questions is "What's next for Pidesco?" Will he showcase his singing talents on Portuguese Idol? Will he eat scorpion eggs on Fear Factor? He could take a part as a gruff FBI agent with a heart of gold for one of those forensic crime dramas, like CSI: Lisbon. Or maybe he will replace Flavor Flav in the third season of Flavor of Love! So anyway.... where's the YouTube link of your appearance? And what is the name of the game show? It looks similar to "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" a show that was quite popular in the U.S. for a while, although I'm sure it was done before elsewhere. baby, take off your beret everyone's a critic and most people are DJs

I've actually watched it once or twice. In the U.S. it's hosted by Bob Saget (or as I still call him, Danny Tanner), former host of America's Funniest Home Videos. Wow, I just looked at the huge list of all countries that had a version of Millionaire on TV. I'm just glad Regis didn't host all of them, or worldwide opinion of Americans would probably be even lower. baby, take off your beret everyone's a critic and most people are DJs
Tel Aviv Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 What a thread! I never really imagined any of you with faces... or if I did it was the same face for you all. I think, in my own special way, I've fallen in love with Drabek.
