June 9, 200619 yr Games are getting shorter! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sadly true. Whatever happen to epic games like Baldur's Gate and Morrowind? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oblivion is huge. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Huge eh? Size does matter in games. Epic long games with an intersting story keeps me playing. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
June 9, 200619 yr The real problem was that Oblivion was only 200 hours long when it could have been 500 or 1000 hours. Current 3DMark
June 9, 200619 yr Perhaps it could be. I have not played Oblvion yet so I can not give a confirmation on this. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
June 9, 200619 yr So, if Hades plays Oblivion 30 times, he'd only get 6000 hrs out of it instead of 15000. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
June 9, 200619 yr Yeah, Hades is tiny. Edited June 9, 200619 yr by metadigital (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
June 9, 200619 yr Another excellent point. I have played about 100 hours in that game. But I could have played 200+ or more if they made the war last longer. EDIT: Why did metadigital edit Nick's post? Edited June 9, 200619 yr by alanschu
June 9, 200619 yr EDIT: Why did metadigital edit Nick's post? Because he wanted to abuse his power as a moderator. Edited June 9, 200619 yr by Judge Hades
June 9, 200619 yr http://www.gamespot.com/news/6152586.html Kutaragi does not think it will take long for digitally delivered PS3 content to catch on and gave a time frame of one to two years. With the availability of networked entertainment, it would seem that having optical drives would cease to be important, but Kutaragi goes one step further. "I expect even the hard disk to disappear eventually. If you have all the data on servers, you probably no longer need disk drives...But to do this, the server is crucial. It's a difficult problem." YAY! (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
June 9, 200619 yr Hmm. No need for Hard Drives? I guess we'll be needing those 18 ExaBytes of memory sooner than I thought. Though that server will obviously still need to save the data. You're going to need bandwidth out the yin-yang though.
June 9, 200619 yr It doesn't matter, because PS3 will be the trigger that ignites flat-panel TV sales. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
June 9, 200619 yr I don't think I like the idea of my personal information being on a server and not accessible offline. Edited June 9, 200619 yr by Judge Hades
June 9, 200619 yr Can't say we are impressed by the rumors and hoopala. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
June 9, 200619 yr You've made your opinions of consoles very clear. I couldn't imagine any "rumors or hoopala" impressing you, regardless of what they were. EDIT: You never know. It could have been a new Apple product. Edited June 9, 200619 yr by alanschu
June 9, 200619 yr "ipersonal information?" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Game high scores. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
June 9, 200619 yr Yes. Think of the embarassment if someone sees your low high-score! Blackmail! Extortion! Cats and dogs, living together! OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
June 9, 200619 yr Or worse, your affiliation with stuff like this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OiaaeIbS_Ko (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
