Dark_Raven Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Hildegard Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 We are constantly killing her(mother earth)...we are like fu*king viruses....but she will have the last laugh...you can be sure of it....and then all nations will stand helpless in its veration
Volourn Posted May 28, 2006 Author Posted May 28, 2006 No. Mother Earth kills Mother Earth. Everything we do is natural no matter how 'weird' we think it may be. Period. In the end, it is ALL Mother Earth's fault. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.

Moose Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Geez, Turkey - Pakistan - Indonesia. God really doesn't like muslims. There are none that are right, only strong of opinion. There are none that are wrong, only ignorant of facts
Darque Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 We are constantly killing her(mother earth)...we are like fu*king viruses....but she will have the last laugh...you can be sure of it....and then all nations will stand helpless in its veration <{POST_SNAPBACK}> True true.
Moose Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Or, more realistically, we'll all be dead and it'll be future generations suffering. See, there's always a silver lining. There are none that are right, only strong of opinion. There are none that are wrong, only ignorant of facts
Rosbjerg Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 I think you underestimate human enginuity and downright pig-headed stupidity.. no matter what anyone throws at us, at least a handful of us always manages to climb out of the rubble... to repopulate the planet and start all over... Fortune favors the bald.
LoneWolf16 Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 True, Ros. Got to give the human race that much. We're nothing if not tenacious. I had thought that some of nature's journeymen had made men and not made them well, for they imitated humanity so abominably. - Book of Counted Sorrows 'Cause I won't know the man that kills me and I don't know these men I kill but we all wind up on the same side 'cause ain't none of us doin' god's will. - Everlast
metadigital Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Geez, Turkey - Pakistan - Indonesia. God really doesn't like muslims. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or maybe Christianity proved worhtless to those people under their distress, so they needed a better religion. Moose Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Coming from you that's terribley ironic. There are none that are right, only strong of opinion. There are none that are wrong, only ignorant of facts
Walsingham Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 I don't see what our behaviour has got to do with it. Mother Earth is a neglectful parent, and would squash us sooner or later no matter what happens or what we do. far better to get all industrialised, take what we need and get spacebound. "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
SteveThaiBinh Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Has there been any progress in predicting earthquakes? Is it even thought to be possible? I'm sure the Japanese were working on something along those lines a few years ago. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
Walsingham Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 One of my exes is a geologist, and she said they aren't close by any means. "It wasn't lies. Atreides Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Well maybe something about living on land that's created by fault lines has something to do with the locations. I can't even begin to imagine how to prevent or avert earthquakes. The focus of most stuff on Extreme Engineering's been about building stuff that can withstand reasonabe weather and quakes. Spreading beauty with my katana.
metadigital Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Coming from you that's terribley ironic. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Your implication is totaly fallacious (as well as being bigoted), i.e. "Because God loves >Christians< more"; insert >Jews< and >Hindus< and any other theological demarcation you care to create.
