Musopticon? Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Eh, why? I agree that it doesn't exactly serve any other purpose than being a base for the odd music discussion now and then, but since mostly everything posted here is on-topic and the thread doesn't increase post count and therefore can't be whored, I don't really see a problem. I agree that folk's tastes can be appalling, but that's really not my problem. And it's definetly not your problem, Kikkeli. Turmion K kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Blarghagh Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 The Shins - Mine's Not A High Horse Shame they lost half their fanbase because an editor at Pitchfork-goddamn-media said they sold out.
Baley Posted June 11, 2006 Author Posted June 11, 2006 See, Lovewolf, that wasn't so hard. Perhaps you'll also grow out of the Capital Punishment Conservative bull**** phase once you dump Hootie and the mother****ing Blowfish. Pitchfork Media? Ouch. I wouldn't want my fans reading that site. Probably for the better. Morphine - I Know You (Part III)
LoneWolf16 Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 (edited) Oh sure, bring politics into it. Not the least bit condescending by the way. One of a couple things I'm actually conservative about, though the death penalty and the term conservative really shouldn't be going hand in hand. 1. My mom played them a lot when I was growing up, so they're ingrained in my ****ing memories, ok? 2. I like it. I love acoustic guitar and I like his voice. 3. Never heard of half the **** you listen to, and taking into consideration the level of asshattery and arrogance you've got on the subject of music, I probably wouldn't like any of it. Hootie and the mother****ing Blowfish - Hannah Jane ...I still love you though, musical high horse and all. Baley Posted June 11, 2006 Author Posted June 11, 2006 Oh sure, bring politics into it. Not the least bit condescending by the way. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Being condescending is part of my online persona. Kinda like how drunken incoherence is part of Jack's. One of a couple things I'm actually conservative about, though the death penalty and the term conservative really shouldn't be going hand in hand. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's a conservative stance. Sure, they're all holy and pious about abortion but once a "darky" steals their car they call for, nay, demand the electric chair! You see, hypocrisy is a fundamental part of the conservative lifestyle. Save the fetus! Kill the poor! 1.
