Well, since RPG's are more story oriented, when you beat those games once they lose their appeal. But FPSs are generally about action and action is always fun.

I'm trying to assess whether 20 bucks for 4-6 hrs will be worth it. Though, then again, it's HL2, a game I was quite impressed with (my favorite action-based straight-out FPS). More condensed content could do it some good. Hmm. HMMMMM. It's kinda stupid that it comes bundled with HL2DM and HL1:S-DM, one of which I already have and the other which I could care less about. You can argue that they're bonuses, but I'd rather have the game at a discount price.

A no-brainer a year ago, perhaps, but I'm not sure I'd have enjoyed HL2 as much had I played it these days.

I'm not really sure I want to babysit Alyx for most of the game, though. She was the most boring character in HL2 vanilla. lol chick

I'm almost at the end of another Half-Life 2 game myself. I had to stop when I started Oblivion, but it's worth replaying. This is my third run.
