Sturm Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Sith pwn Jedi!!! DN <{POST_SNAPBACK}> always Sith Lords indeed pwn your puny jedi classes however to keep this on topic i would chose Master <{POST_SNAPBACK}> sith lord FTW Weapon Master. Hit enemy with light-sabre. Repeat. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sith Lord. Force Crush Enemy. Repeat. Force Storm, Drain Field, Repeat
The Swedish Dark Lord III Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 I just love the Whatchmen. Huge amounts of HP (CON) huge amounts of skills (even more useable in KotorII) and Neak Attack (always usefull IMO) and the hybrid thingy. But honestly.. I've never run out of force at higher lvl's (then again I have never played a 8 WIS char either...
vaxen83 Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 (edited) Actually, I still like Jedi Master or Watchman. The former for additional force points and the latter for sneak attacks. Marka Ragnos Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 I think they're all pretty good and in the end the game is so easy that it doesn't matter what you choose. I generally prefer the Watchman.
Darth_Nihlus Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 SITH LORD or more specifically THE Dark Lord of the Sith The Exile's voice was stern "Darth Nihilus, remove your mask" The Sith Lord slowly raised his hands to his face. In utter shock, the Exile looked upon the face of..... Jolee Bindo!!
Revan1127 Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 (edited) I guess jedi watchmen because it is the continuation of the Jedi Sentential. But I like them all Edited June 24, 2006 by Revan1127 "Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both." Benjamin Franklin " Revan was power and it was like staring into the heart of the force."
SamuraiGaijin Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 If you needed the extra skill points, etc. ... if it was more role-playing and less action ... Sentinel would be my choice. Since thumbing through the force power menus gets bothersome for me, and all conflicts end up getting resolved with "aggressive negotiations" ... Weapon Master ... gotta love the extra lightsaber feats, Juyo, etc.
JediKnight72 Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 I like jedi watchmen because it the perfect balance between the force and combat but i like jedi mast because of all the force powers. cant really choose between them.
vaxen83 Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 (edited) Weapon Master/Marauder for saber forms like Ataru. Watchman/Assassin works in terms of broadening skill utilisation and having Stealth without needing cloaking equipment. Edited July 3, 2006 by vaxen83 Deep from within... Xard Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 I would say that Juyo is best for WM/M How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them. - OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)
Benjamin Korr Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 My vote goes to Jedi Master. Though I dont deny, the novalty of the Jedi Watchman, and his dutys, are somewhat enthralling. But yeah, I'd give my first vote to Jedi Master, second to Jedi Watchman, third to Jedi Weapon Master. Because really, when it comes down to it, a Jedi Master knows how to use a lightsaber pretty well, and what extra ferver he lacks in saber combat compared to a Weapon Master, he makes up for in his extra strong connection to the force, which gives him more usefullness and ability in peaceful times, which is what every Jedi wishes for. The pursuit of peace and knowledge over sheer power and combat. But just for the record, no I'm not a "All I want is peace!" fella, nor am I a war-monger. Somewhere inbetween. There is a balance for everything you know. "The dimmest light can shatter the darkest night, and the light I carry is in no way dim."
Benjamin Korr Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 I would have to go with Jedi Grand Master. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> First, that wasnt a choise, second, that just shows you're power hungry and wouldnt make it as a Jedi anyhow. "The dimmest light can shatter the darkest night, and the light I carry is in no way dim."
Exar Kun Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 I would have to go with Jedi Grand Master. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> First, that wasnt a choise, second, that just shows you're power hungry and wouldnt make it as a Jedi anyhow. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> First, you can't spell. Second, you are completely unaware of my intentions. Third, for someone who claims to be of the Light, you have quite the spiteful personality.
DarkGodofTheSith Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 My vote goes with WeaponMaster, just for the extra power.
Grand Lord Revan Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 I go for the Jedi-Watchman. I like the idea of protecting the galaxy.
vaxen83 Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 (edited) A Weapon master with relatively high wisdom would be ok too. (Apart from Strength and finesse with weapons) Edited July 9, 2006 by vaxen83 Deep from within... Victims live a life of fantasy. Some see salvation as an act of God, a few look within for it. 朱宣澧
JediKnight72 Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Sith Lords indeed pwn your puny jedi classes however to keep this on topic i would chose Master <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Except dor the FACT that it is twice as hard beating the game as a Jedi on Difficult setting since u dont have force lightenign shower (which is a horrible animation, who holds their hand verticle when performing force lightening honestly now? Evryone knwos you point both hands at ur opponent, not this lightening fountain crap where it stirkes peopele in the top of teh head) Anyway im gonna say Mix and Mix only, beign a pure breed is overkill in any one aspect fo the game, a Consular--> Jedi Master's force powers are too strong for his own good and being a battle tank as a guardian-->Weapons master is Overkill with a lightsaber. I mean How many one hit kills must i go through before i get bored. Which is why i liek to balance it out with a Consular--> Wep Master or Guardian to Jedi Master. Sentinal Can Go Anyway as someoen said before which is cool and the skills are pretty handy in conversations its nice not having to dust off the lil droid jsut to open a door and to get experience instead of bashing stuff or kamikazying Atton into landmines to clear a path. Mutts are just stronger. Watchman's nice too if ur into that stealth action stuff and want to pretend ur Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell with a lightsaber. But if I had to chose it woudl be weapons master cause i light side Jedi Master has no offensive powers and u end up using ur saber anyway unless u spam force wave. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I use force lighting when I'm light side. you just have to have enough force to use it without it draining your force to 0.
GreyJedi Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Jedi master is in my opinion the best jedi class. Jedi masters however suffer in lightsaber fights. Most people who play this class usualy do it to abuse force wave like force storm for sith lords. I have a good strategy for anyone who wants to become a jedi master. Invest all of your attribute points you gain at 4 level intervals into strength. You won't need to worry about widsom b/c you'll get extra wisdom from the prestige class and you can just get items to wear that increase your wisdom. By doing this you can make yourself a terrific fighter who can just stun anyone and finish them off with a lightsaber. There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. There is no death, there is the Force
vaxen83 Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 (edited) Jedi masters can vary, for both LS and DS. So far, a class combo that I would not mind having is a Sentinel with either a Sith Lord or Jedi Master character. Only thing about Sith Lords/Jedi Masters that there might not be enough of are Reflex and Fortitude Saves. Generally, their Will saves are much higher than the other two. Sentinel's Paralysis immunity might ameliorate this somewhat. Edited July 10, 2006 by vaxen83 Deep from within... Victims live a life of fantasy.
