alanschu Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 And long too! Well, man hour wise. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or woman! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Man as in homo sapien
metadigital Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Does that set include the newer homo sapiens sapiens? I was quoting from Life of Brian, btw. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
alanschu Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Were those the things that picked up Brian when he fell from the Tower?
metadigital Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 No, it was the People's Front of Judea, or the Judean People's Front, and their charter that included Eric Ilde's "Stan" character right to have babies. (He piped up and said "Or woman" whenever John Cleese read out a new codicil.) OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
alanschu Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Those things that saved Brian were particularly humourous, in a WTF sort of way.
Gabrielle Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Atari should have stuck with sucky consoles and stayed out of PC games. Just like Bioware needs to stick with PC and leave consoles alone.
DarthMethos Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 So what is new with Atari? :D They seem to be on the edge of closure every so many years. They will recover. Good old Atari. Quick question: From all the weird posts: When did drinking hour start? Damit! I think I missed it. <_<
Darque Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Atari should have stuck with sucky consoles and stayed out of PC games. Just like Bioware needs to stick with PC and leave consoles alone. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no

J.E. Sawyer Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Atari should have stuck with sucky consoles and stayed out of PC games. Just like Bioware needs to stick with PC and leave consoles alone. Not the same Atari. twitter tyme
Gabrielle Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 No? Nice post count J.E. you should keep it there.
Judge Hades Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 The Atari that made the Atari 2600 and the Jaguar died years ago. When I say died, I mean deader than a can of spam. Infogrammes bought the Atari logo and name from the remnants so they can have actual name recognition.
Darque Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 (edited) No? Nice post count J.E. you should keep it there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yikes, creepy edit: note I mean his post count. Edited February 19, 2006 by Darque

After what happen to Bloodlines and Troika itself. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you referring to Activision keeping Troika's doors open long enough so that they could actually release a much needed patch? They could have closed shop right after release, but they didn't.
Kaftan Barlast Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Atari should have stuck with sucky consoles and stayed out of PC games. Just like Bioware needs to stick with PC and leave consoles alone. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not the same Atari. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aye, ATARi stopped being ATARi in 1976 when the company was sold to Warner Bros. then the brandname(only the name, not the people) has been passed around like a hot potato between diffrent companies. Lastly the name and logy etc. was bought by Infrogrames who then "became" the ATARi we have today which is a company who has absolutely nothing whatsoever with the previous incarnations Its like if 50cent would buy the brand "elvis presley" and start to release records as Elvis. Gorth Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 It's an honourable tradition of old publishing companies being bought and run by frenchmen... “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein
