February 17, 200619 yr Is it true that Muslims are not supposed to make any depictions of living creatures? I thought that was absurd, but then I thought about Islamic art and I know they have a lot of geometric designs n' stuff but I can't think of any famous portraits or anything. As a prophet he brings the message, sets guidelines, educates , etc. Mohammed is a man ,he can make mistakes but in general is meant to be seen as the rolemodel for all men in manners and worship. But Mohammed was never meant to be even near Gods level, this is further highlighted by Abu Baker (the first caliphate) when he made a speech after Mohd's death saying basically that Islam isn't about Mohd. its about God.
