February 21, 200619 yr Haven't gotten through the expansion yet. There's this one error I keep getting in Act V that causes the game to close. I'm hoping to get it fixed so I can actually finish the game. If I don't, guess I'll have to try another character.

February 21, 200619 yr IWD was the first game I can recall needing a patch... Game would always crash in the Ice Giant cave. Guy at IP tech support was great though. They even sent me some free stuff and a copy of the AI writing instructions. Dont recall any problems with Diablo at all although I never actually patched it frequently. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327[/snapback]
February 21, 200619 yr I don't ever recall having any bugs in D2. Whenever I play it online it would always update it to the latest patch version.
February 21, 200619 yr Yeah, this is the first game bug I've ever encountered. I haven't played my Barbarian for a while, so I'm not sure if it was a one-shot or a real game-killer. I ran Norton Utilites on my computer and got the patch, so maybe that's helped. I'll probably end up playing tonight to see for sure.
