metadigital Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 I have vivid feelings (almost vestigial twitches in my muscle memory!) of PitFall, especially. :D Can't place the one you mean, take a look here: clickity click OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
Kor Qel Droma Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Ah the memories of a cold Christmas Eve in 1981. Pretending to be asleep, I overhear this fateful conversation between my parents. Mom: "Do you think we should put the Atari under the tree yet?" Dad: " Jesus, it's only ten thirty!" I went to sleep a happy boy that night. My brother and I must have played Asteriods for at least seven hours straight before Dad went ballistic. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.

Kor Qel Droma Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 The only game I didn't like for my Atari was the Dungeons and Dragons game. I had absolutely no clue what was going on in that game. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
alanschu Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 I played Road Rash on the Genesis as well. My favorite snowboard game would be the first two CoolBoarders. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The only version I played was on the 3DO. It was good times.
alanschu Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 I can top that. Anyone else remember the Horse Racing game for the Intellivision? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes! I remember: ... Errr, for all those fellow rock-climbers and adrenaline junkies ... :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I loved the South Park where the scene had the South Park priest brave the dangers of the Vatican basement to find some old holy artifacts. The scene was just a play scene from pitfall. :D

Guest The Architect Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 FIFA 2006 is my favourite sports game. Yes, I'm a soccer lover with Italian background, but I'm born in Australia.
SteveThaiBinh Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 (edited) I can top that. Anyone else remember the Horse Racing game for the Intellivision? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Of course . I remember it played the William Tell overture before the start of each race, when you were impatient to get started. My favourite was Space Armada (a straight Space Invaders rip-off). The only other sports game we had was baseball which was challenging for me to play as, being a Brit, I'd never seen the real thing. I can still hear it saying/singing 'Yer Out!'. Surreptishus Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 California Games on the Sega Master System - Surfing, Half pipe, BMX and.... Hackeysack. Possibly some other sports but i don't remember.
alanschu Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Hehe, good ol' Hacky-sack. The Jester was hard to do! There was the rollerskating, though that one sucked IMO. The surfing one was my favourite though. There was also the discus. I played it on the Apple II though. I was a big fan of Winter Games and World Games (no wiki ) though.
