Morgoth Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Look at this great artwork! I'm anticipating no other game so anxiously than this one.... It's from the System Shock2 creators, after all! Anyone here having an abo or planning to get this magazine? When does this issue come out btw? Anyone who PMs me a scanned preview gets a delicious Mozart-Pie delivered per air express! :D Rain makes everything better.
Meshugger Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Hopefully there will be screenshots this time. I've been waiting for any info since this game was announced a year ago. metadigital Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 It'll be in all the game mags this month, I expect. (I saw a teaser in last month's, iirc ...) OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
baby arm Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Funny how this issue is coming out right after I let my subscription lapse. They print nothing but Metal Gear and Superman covers and now do something I'm actually excited about. Tricky bastards.
Volourn Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Everytime I read the title of this game I always make the quick impression that it's made by BIO... even though I know it's not. LOL That's the only "worthy" addition I have to this thread or game so I'll shut up now. :D DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
mkreku Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 There's been so little hype surrounding this game, I'd almost forgotten it. It scores high on my interest-o-meter though! System Shock 2 is one of my favourite games ever. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!

LOL That's the only "worthy" addition I have to this thread or game so I'll shut up now. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Can't blame you. "Bio" became a classic eye-snap-thingy to me as well and usually evokes pleasent thoughts like "Baldur's Gate", and "NWN". And although "Bio" is good, "BioShock" is better! I heard that the March issue ships today to subscribers, is that right? I need infos! Go forth my seeking children, and bring back hints for Mighty Morgoth! Rain makes everything better.
Darque Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 O (w00t) M (w00t) G (w00t) Finally New Info! (w00t)
Meshugger Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Never heard of it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's never too late to repent. Slowtrain Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Not to be the ugly voice of realism here, but its exactly this sort of exagerated and unmerited over-anticipation that leads to all those omg, I can't believe this game is such an awful disapointment threads that give me such a headache on game forums immediately following a game's release. I'm sure all you KoToR2 people know the kind of threads i'm talking about. Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

It just didn't live up to its predecessor. There are some games that have actually lived up to the hype.. Granted, few and far between. Edited February 11, 2006 by Lancer Lancer

Slowtrain Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 lol oblivion <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Very true. Anybody who has already charted that up on the best of 2006 list is jumping the gun. Slowtrain Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 There are some games that have actually lived up to the hype.. Granted, few and far between. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I can't think of one. Most games that go down as "great" are either low-hyped or not hyped at all. Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. Gabrielle Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Ah yes evil consoles <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The hell? This game will probably be PC only <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Alrighty! It has a chance after all.
Gabrielle Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 I hope I can find it. I have yet been able to find Bloodrayne in the store yet. Damn so called computer game stores. They should change their name to console game stores.
Llyranor Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Bloodrayne is a good game!!!!! (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Gabrielle Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 I'm sure it is, I just can't find the bloody thing.
metadigital Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 I'm sure all you KoToR2 people know the kind of threads i'm talking about. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What do you mean? Bloodrayne is a good game!!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No it's not. I tried the demo. It sucks. (The girl is pretty, though.) OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
Gabrielle Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 I heard good things about Bloodrayne. Not great things but good, enough for me to get it once I find it.
metadigital Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 It's a console-button-mashie-type thingie. I didn't like what I had to do with my keyboard. (Also I may have been trying to configure my gamepad ... :">) OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
