thepixiesrock Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I think you mis-spelled it. Lou Gutman, P.I.- It's like I'm not even trying anymore!http://theatomicdanger.iforumer.com/index....theatomicdangerOne billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.
GhostofAnakin Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Hmm...I don't know what to think of that. I was hoping it would be RPG-ish, as opposed to RTS type stuff. "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
Gabrielle Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Companies need to stick to what they do best. I don't recall any Bethesda RTS games.
karka Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Bethesda: That's not what we do well. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Haitoku Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Wow, are these guys buying all the rights to all classics and turning them into Morrowind clones.
karka Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 (edited) I think they won't do a Starwind. I am expecting some kind of space sim. or something. edit: Oh...it was an RTS. Good thing is, they'll only publish it. Edited January 25, 2006 by karka
Gabrielle Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Wow, are these guys buying all the rights to all classics and turning them into Morrowind clones. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How horrifying.
Diogo Ribeiro Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Wow, are these guys buying all the rights to all classics and turning them into Morrowind clones. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wonder if this is unrelated or if there really is a pattern forming here.
Llyranor Posted January 25, 2006 Author Posted January 25, 2006 Too bad they're not publishing the Shadowrun 360 shooter game. ... Or are they? (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Hurlshort Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Star Trek: Legacy is being developed at the studios of Mad Doc Software, creators of the highly successful and critically acclaimed Star Trek Armada II. Star Trek: Tactical Assault is being developed in the studios of Quicksilver Software, creators of the highly popular Star Trek: Starfleet Command. Yay for reading comprehension. Seriously, they are only publishing these games. Clearly they are financially doing well, so they've decided to help a few development houses get some titles out the door. I'd rather them do it than EA or some other publishing giant with no real cares about quality.
Judge Hades Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 If they care about quality they wouldn't be ruining Fallout.
Llyranor Posted January 25, 2006 Author Posted January 25, 2006 Fallout 3 will a quality game (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Llyranor Posted January 25, 2006 Author Posted January 25, 2006 No. Maybe for YOU (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Gabrielle Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Fallout 3 will a quality game <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The hell if it will be.
Slowtrain Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I support everything everywhere being a Morrowind clone. Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.
Judge Hades Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 There is only one way fro Bethesda to make a quality Fallout in the way I would like it and they have already stated they are not doing it.
thepixiesrock Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Man, you nerds like to cry a lot. Darque Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Man, you nerds like to cry a lot. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Posting on a message board for a game company makes you a nerd by default.
Judge Hades Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 How is it "crying" when you expect and accept that a game series you like is being raped again? I accept it that it will be crap, just like FOT and FOPOS were crap. If I was really crying about it I would be spamming the Bethesda's forums continually, with alt after alt.
karka Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 (edited) If they really like to support developers by publishing their games, then why did't they only publish Fallout? They could hire Troika for the development of the game and then they could publish it. Anyways. It is too late for Fallout and Troika now. And the topic is completely different. So i shut up.
