They said that PNJ is not a sequel, thus PNJ is not K3. And from what it sounds like, OE doesnt have the manpower to work on 3 titles(NWN2, PNJ and K3) simultaneously.

Edit: Anyway, it's IGN, so who cares about what they "believe".

I think the "predictions" part of their article should have been the first indication that this wasn't a genuine indication that K3 is in development.

PNJ is not an original IP, but an original take on an existing IP.

In fairness to the original poster, the section which we believe is was added to the part before in development by Obsidian well after the article was first posted. Probably as a result of this thread.

 

The original article gave a strong impression that development was certain, and what followed was the 'prediction' part.

It's a shame they didn't correct Obsidian's name from 'Obsidian Development' to 'Obsidian Entertainment' at the same time.

No, I post on the IGN KOTOR boards and I'm usually the one throwing cold water on the parade everytime someone posts another KOTOR III rumor.

 

I came over here to hopefully find a definitive Developer post about the IGN article to stop everyone over there from again going off the deep end. :(

I can just imagine how rabbid some of those forums are. If it's anything like the Lucasarts forums then I feel for you posting on there.
