Cruachan Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Hi all, First time posting here. I hope you can help. After feeling smug for tracking down KOTOR 2 for a measly
w666tvr Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Well, you should probably update your ATI display driver. I'm intrigued as to why the scan hardware found no virtual memory. If this is really the case then that will cause you a lot of problems. "We were hoping we could bring the Xbox platform into December but didn't want to make the formal announcement until we knew an earlier ship date would not compromise the quality of The Sith Lords," says Producer Mike Gallo.
Judge Hades Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Your video card failed the Open GL test. You need to have a card that is at least Open GL 1.4 compliant. The ATI 9100 isn't. Its not adequate.

You can turn virtual memory off, y'know - tho a little is always taken up for the Win OS, that 'reserve' doesn't show up in the swinfo test. As long as there's enough RAM, there's no problem with having it off. A lot of people prefer it disabled, in fact. “Things are as they are. Judge Hades Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 The problem is the card, not the drivers. I believe that Radeon model is not Open GL 1.4 compliant.
BattleCookiee Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 The 8500 is the "lowest" Radeon card that has Pixel and Vertex Shader. Since a GeForce 3/Radeon 8500 (because of these Pixel/Vertex shaders, needed for (for example) Force Sight) is the min. rec. req. why shouldn't a 9100 do the trick?
