Judge Hades
Good for them. Now they need to get cracking on Ultima 6.
kirottu
Sounds neat. I This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
Magnum Opus
I was actually considering picking up Dungeon Siege a while back, partly for the game itself but also on the off-chance that Lazarus would see the light of day. I went with Morrowind instead... slightly moreso for the game itself, but also because of a project I knew was (and still is, apparently) in the offing, called Ultima Redemption. I figured Lazarus wouldn't quite make it out of the tomb this time around, or that he'd suffocate before they could unwrap him (boy, wouldn't that have been a kick upside the halo), so I went with Morrowind. Dang. MO: 0 - 1. Great to see one of these Ultima mods out there, though. *thumbs up* Congrats to all involved.... ... now get workin' on a patch! Synaesthesia
Good for them. Now they need to get cracking on Ultima 6. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wasn't there already a mod in development for that?
Jumjalum
http://reconstruction.voyd.net/index.php?e...yword=remakes3d There's a mod in development for almost all the Ultimas, so far Lazarus is the only one to make it past the finishing line hence my surprise. Ultima mods are notorious for being abandoned since most of them are so ambitious. We now bring you live footage from the World Championship Staring Final. Judge Hades
For the most part, yes. It is a very very large mod though the bad side of it it mirrors the Ultima 4 parser system for conversations with NPCs which is awkward in the NWN system. A major plus of it that it can be played MP without a hitch. Edited December 25, 2005 by Judge Hades
Musopticon?
My Dungeon Siege cd was stolen. Well, it was pirated originally, but who cares... kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Child of Flame
I traded in Dungeon Siege to contribute to HL2 funds, along with copies of Halo, Bloodrayne, and Contract J.A.C.K. Oops.

Magnum Opus
Meh. (I am, like, largely indifferent to this turn of events). The game (The software product known here after as "Dungeon Siege") sucked so hardcore (was a substandard offering that I didn't particularly enjoy) [so] my only regret is (I feel some slight remorse) this (Ultima 5: Lazarus) actually hit the internet (was completed and made available to the public via the Internet). You talk about DS or U5:L now? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Paraphrased. Edited December 29, 2005 by Magnum Opus
BattleCookiee
^ Like that it totally makes no sense... So I don't think CoF meant that... He hates DS so he feels sorry U5:L is released. Come on...
Child of Flame
No, that was pretty much it. It's not like I'm hating on the mod, it's just that I thought it'd never see the light of day, so there wasn't a second thought when I traded Dungeon Siege in for five bucks and put it toward the $50 for Half Life 2. Judge Hades
I also had Dungeon Siege but gave it to a friend. The game was absolutely terrible. It doesn't deserve to have spawned a sequel.
Child of Flame
All I have heard about the sequel says it is an okay game, I haven't played it yet though. The graphics engine is the same pretty much, but they focused on a story and huge environments instead. Supposed to be a regular Baldur's Gate in terms of size/length. Musopticon?
I heard it's a long old-skool dungeon crawl with decent themes and and an okay story. I might get it if I ever see it under 40 kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Judge Hades
When it drops below $10 USD then I might get number 2.
