Musopticon? Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I think Warhammer 40k ripped off japanese mecha, which in turn ripped from several different sources, including Heinlein. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai. So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 RoboTech is still one of my favourites. RoboTech saved my life once :D I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327[/snapback]
Lucius Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 (edited) Everybody ripped off somebody, the point is that what Warhammer 40k created out of it is soo much cooler imo. Edited December 14, 2005 by Lucius DENMARK! It appears that I have not yet found a sig to replace the one about me not being banned... interesting.
Judge Hades Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 What I want to see is Bumble Bee versus Pikachu in a cage death match. BWAAHAAHAAAA!
Oerwinde Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 The writers even came in a couple times to touch base with the fans. One of the writers, John Rogers, does plenty of interacting on his blog. Not so much on the Transformers movie though, although he has mentioned the re-writes sucking up a lot of time. It's very good for anyone interested in screenwriting. Oh, and this post is a must read, it's totally hilarious: Lunch Discussions #145: The Crazification Factor <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Theres a link to my page on his blog under "Canadiana" Since my writing skills are non-existant and my interest in screenwriting is as well, I don't often read his stuff about screenwriting, but his political and cultural rants are awesome. jaguars4ever Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 What I want to see is Bumble Bee versus Pikachu in a cage death match. BWAAHAAHAAAA! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know about Pikachu vs Bumble Bee, but there's certainly Optimus Prime vs Pikachu! :D
Oerwinde Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Roberto Orci over on the don murphy boards announced that they cut Arcee from the movie. And there was much rejoicing. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
Deraldin Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Ironhide and Prowl <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aren't these two dead?
Oerwinde Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Ironhide and Prowl <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aren't these two dead? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Post movie they are. But this movie is G1 from the beginning. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
Musopticon? Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 What has that to do with anything? kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. 213374U Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast.

But this movie is G1 from the beginning. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Right from the beginning? Are they planning on showing the trip to Earth and such, or not quite that far back? Haven't really heard much about it.

Haven't really heard much about it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They'll show the trip to earth through flashbacks I believe. It does take place at the beginning of the conflict on earth.
