In the original run of the X-Men he was a founding member along with Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman and Angel. As for how he fits in with the current series I have no clue. He's questioning weather or not his mind will start to go. but I'm not entirly sure about what will happen after "No MORE MUTANTS!"
