thepixiesrock Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 His wife is ill. Hopefully things are working out in the end. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wow, it's a good thing you said that when you did, I was about to say something totally inapropriate. And let me tell you, it wouldn't have been the first time. Lou Gutman, P.I.- It's like I'm not even trying anymore!http://theatomicdanger.iforumer.com/index....theatomicdangerOne billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.
LadyCrimson Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Ah...that's a trying path to have to walk. Hopefully it'll have a happy ending. *sends goodwill and luck his way* “Things are as they are. Cantousent Posted January 3, 2006 Author Posted January 3, 2006 (edited) What are we to say, Child? Many people get better briefly before they die. I didn't know your mom was dead. I'm sad to hear it. Let's hope meta's loved one gets better and does not die. ...But none of us will escape death in the long run. It is a road we must all travel in the end. Cantousent Posted January 3, 2006 Author Posted January 3, 2006 I am going to engage in something different for the next review. I will write a report on two people at the same time. Don't feel slighted, Child and Surreptishus, You'll both get a full length review. Longer even, as I do a comparison review between the two of you. Not only that, but I have A LOT of things to say about both of you. hahaha Oh, I'd say sorry about the double post, but I won't. I simply feel no guilt about double or triple posting. Meanwhile, if any of you would like to do a review of other folks, I'd appreciate it. So far, KQD and Pixies are the only folks helping out with the reports. Come on, folks! I'm not upset about it, and I wasn't then, she was in a lot of pain before she died, and life just isn't really worth livin' when it has that sort of quality. I am going to engage in something different for the next review. I will write a report on two people at the same time. LadyCrimson Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Oh, I'd say sorry about the double post, but I won't. I simply feel no guilt about double or triple posting. I never understood that rule. No wait, I do understand it's an anti-spam/learn to edit measure but doing it on occasion...nothing to be guilty for, nope. “Things are as they are. Cantousent Posted January 3, 2006 Author Posted January 3, 2006 I'm far too lazy to edit most of the time. On the other hand, I won't edit extraneous information into reviews. They're already extraneous enough. Darth_Schmarth Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 I liked it better when it didn't say whether a post had been edited. That way I could release avalanches of typos and correct them as I noticed them. Now I actually have to read my posts before pressing Add Reply, unless I wanna look like a flip-flopper of sorts... ^Asinus asinorum in saecula saeculorum
Child of Flame Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 The subject of this report may or may not be Kaftan Barlast. Kaft: All console games must die, they steal PC exclusives and make them console exclusives there should be more games on the PC and not Console. Poster X: But Kaft, wouldn't that mean making games exclusive for the PC, and are you not proposing that the PC get more exclusives and console less? Kaft: Maybe. Poster X: Can't we all just get along? Kaft: No! Kaft: I hate all comics and cartoons that use an anime style because they put hard working western artists out of business. Poster X: But Kaft, sometimes manga comics generally have much more in depth and consistent storylines than western comics, a lot of the time they even have endings! Kaft: Damn kids! Kaft: Yeah, check out this <insert foreign film here> it's in Swedish but it is totally sweet and awesome. Poster X: But Swedish is horribly grating on the ears! Kaft: At least it's not that Hollywood dreck, capitalism sux, socialism FTW! Poster X: But Kaft, some great stuff comes out of Hollywood along with the crap, and they follow tried and true marketing and business structures, Hollywood movies are by and large the most successful in the world! Kaft: DAMN CAPITALISTS!
Kor Qel Droma Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Does Authority carry any weight in this section of the forum? Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Nartwak Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Authority is a "Forum Leader" of this subforum so I would say he has considerable weight here.
Darth_Schmarth Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Do I smell bitterness on behalf of CoF? ^Asinus asinorum in saecula saeculorum
Child of Flame Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Nah, just frustration with the LIKE WHAT I LIKE attitude from someone who should know better.
Darth_Schmarth Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Well, if he "should know better" you are forcing your preferences on him, insisting he should like what you like. He's just in for some healthy instigation, after all. ^Asinus asinorum in saecula saeculorum
Cantousent Posted January 3, 2006 Author Posted January 3, 2006 (edited) No, Darth, you Schmarth. You get low marks for using mental gymnastics but high marks for the gymnastics themselves. The Child's review is not sanctioned, however, but I am glad he did one. After all, I'm just glad to have other folks doing some reviews. uhhh EDIT? Anyhow, you guys realize I don't have the power to sanction or censure (or censor) any review, right? Child of Flame Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Well, if he "should know better" you are forcing your preferences on him, insisting he should like what you like. He's just in for some healthy instigation, after all. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Um, no. I don't like sports games, but I know there's a consumer base for them, and people who enjoy them, and I don't begrudge them. For most of the Xbox's life cycle I didn't particularly like it, but I realized there are people who do, so fine, big deal. As an aspiring game developer and a person over the age of ten, Kaftan is pretty much a fool for thinking the way he seems to, unless it's just blatant trolling, but I digress.
