BattleCookiee
Moved from WoT to Spoilers to General. What a trip Anyways, PC right? Did you open swkotor2.ini and added EnableCheats=1 where it should?
Akhan225
Enable the cheats like BattleWookie said. Also, The cheats don't appear onscreen like they did in KOTOR I. You kind of have to "type blind" if you catch my drift. Welcome
Darth333
You can also use KSE (Kotor savegame editor) instead of cheats: http://www.starwarsknights.com/tools.php KSE also offers more possibilities than cheats such as changing your appearance. There's also another cheat utility called "preppie" that allows you to use shortcuts for the cheat codes. Sturm
why would you even need to cheat in kotor2? cheating just screws it up

Cassidy
I never cheat, except to test certain things like item mods or something. Even then, I make a backup save then load it once I am finished testing the mod.

213374U
cheating just ruins the fun and challenge of the game What challenge? - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast. Judge Hades
Exactomundo. A challenge has to be there in order to be ruined. I hope Obsidian fixes that problem in their ame design for NWN2.
Musopticon?
In every thread about cheats; it's always the same. People chiming in to add useless "cheaters don't prosper"-remarks. Like the folks who read and care(aka those who matter) would cheat to succeed in games. Edited December 15, 2005 by Musopticon? kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Judge Hades
I think you would need to cheat to make the game harder.

Judge Hades
Winning is not the point of a CRPG. Its the journey. If you are playing to win then CRPGs just aren't for you. Go play some mindless FPS.

CoM_Solaufein
Leveling up is senseless since the game makes the enemies harder according to what level you are. So cheating that would be senseless. Judge Hades
Like I said, a notable few. There are more mindless FPS games than there are "good" FPS games. Even the best FPS is only on par on the lowliest CRPG.
Musopticon?
How you can compare fps to rpgs in beyond me, but if we go by your thinking there's also been only a notable few of "good" rpgs. Most are clickfests. Edit: The point here was that there's only a rare few fps nowadays where you remarks "run around and shoot stuff" and "no story whatsoever" apply. Most fps of today make you think. Different thoughts than in rpgs, but thinking nevertheless. Come to think(hoh hah, a pun) of it, what was the last fps you played, Judge Hades? I want to know with what authority you call most fps mindless. Edited December 15, 2005 by Musopticon? kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Judge Hades
I have played Doom 1, Doom 2, Unreal Torunement, Half Life 1, Deus Ex, Doom 3, Wolfenstein 3D, Quake 1, 2, and 3, Unreal 1, Unreal 2, Deus Ex IW, of the top of my head. Out of that list I only really like are the DXs and HL.
Musopticon?
Yarr... Got it. I recommend expanding you horizons. How was Unreal 2? Judge Hades
It was okay, but I prefer Unreal 1. Unreal Torunement 2004 is real fun for some mindless carnage. Oh, I am working on it expanding my horizons. I did get a X Box after all. . Been messing around with Battlefront 2. Man, that game is crazy but I love killing ewoks.
