Don't forget cool helmets and circlets and all that nice dress-up-type stuff.

Yeah, and could we please get things that look good this time? And not turquoaise/brown armours that look like a blind crackhead designed them? :)"

The screens look fine, no comparison to Gothic 3, like mkreku pointed out, but fine.

WIll G3 feature normalmapping? If it doesnt, NWN2 will pwn it no matter what.

I don't know if Gothic 3 has normal mapping. But they have an art design that's absolutely fantastic (in my opinion):

And it looks like the clouds can still cast shadows on the ground below. Lovely :)

Yeah, customability with a decent example campaign showing what the editor can do an setting some sort of standard storywise will suffice. The frost on armors and clouds relecting from the surfaces of spell pools aren't necessary.

Great so when I'm killed then mugged by a band of vicious flies while high on apple smoke after a great night with a hooker there'll be pretty clouds throwing shadows on my corpse...

I think the Gothic devs should forget about graphics and spend the money on hiring a good writer so G3 wont be the same generic feast of dull repetitive clich

I agree with you about the hero, you swedu.

Anyway, goblins, dragons and chosen ones. And rats. None of those were cliches?

Shees. Well, I didn't mean only enemies, the game was full of fantasy cliches when comparing it to G1. That, however doesn't make it any less awesome in terms of gaming. But dear god, I hope G3 is a bit more original.

Most G3 screens available right now where photoshopped. This is offficial.

However, the G3 devs plan to have normal maps, specular maps and all the other eye candy when the final game ships. Whether this is going to be true or not we have yet to see.

The best thing of G3 is however: no ingame loading screens. COo! At least one crpg where your monsterhardware is used properly.

Well, I heard the story sucked donkey balls, and the gameplay sort of fell flat trying to imitate both Dawn of War and WC 3, without succeeding in it. Heroes were useless and everything was unbalanced.

Thanks, not like I dont have enough to buy that friday anyway.

RTS isnt really my favourite thing but Dawn of War was just that good :ermm:

I have to agree with Volourn.  Bioware is pretty much dead now.  Deals like this kills development studios.

To the person who wondered what the 'purple thing' on the ground in the color shots is, its a dead 'blade golem'. Of course if you kept tabs on my front page you'd have known that weeks ago... :ermm:

Fortunately, being a pagan witch, I am not called upon to solve this problem."

Of course it is. I can't believe I didn't recognise it. I have an uncle who's a blade golem. :ermm:
