Hurlshort Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 The Star Wars Battlefield clone? I played the closed beta...it's not as good as Battlefield 2. It really just lacks the feel of a realistic shooter. I wish it was better because I like the Star Wars setting, but it let me down.

Hurlshort Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 This game really is vastly inferior to Battlefield 2. I'm guessing a mod will come out for BF2 that will be better than Battlefront 2. I can barely tell that I'm shooting people, the flight controls don't feel anything like flying, and the beta levels were all seriously small. I know this was just from beta, but it really lacked magic. I'm surprised the first sold so well. I actually really enjoyed Republican Commando, but they didn't do a ton of advertising for it. They're just riding the Battlefield coat tails.
