Humodour
Well, in Australia, anyway. I would presume that everywhere else also has it, since Australia typically gets things last.
Baley
Yes,yes. Looks like your typical hack'n'slash. I haven't played the full version much, but it does seem superior to the first(which really isn't hard). Still is nowhere near as good as Kult or Fate.... Camael
I hated the original DS, I mean I really hated it. If you read any DS2 reviews that say "if you liked the original, you'll love DS2", they are on drugs because DS2 is nothing like the original. I have played DS2 for about 20 hrs so far and I really like it a lot. If you do get it, don't pass judgment on it until you have played it for at least 10 or so hours because it really gets better as you go. Considering that I have barely made a dent in the world map after 20 hours, I am guessing this game is really, really huge, probably 100+ hours. It is hard to believe after how bad DS was, how good DS2 is, it would be a big mistake to not buy it
SteveThaiBinh
So has anyone finished the game yet? I haven't even finished the demo, yet. I'm unlikely to be buying the game in the near future, so I though I'd leave the demo until buying the game became a more serious proposition. There's a danger that when the cold, lean RPG-less months set in, your mind can play tricks with you, and you can tell yourself "Ah, I'll just get it, I don't think the review/demo was that bad." Except it seems rather limited in character creation and character types. BattleCookiee
Let's see what my favorite magazine (one of the few making note of KotOR2's Rushed ending) say of Kult First the score: 59/100 Good start Now the negative sides of the game: Costumisation: Name, dress, haircut (not alot) Too easy Small maps Graphically ugly (release: End 2004) Boring music No voice-overs except for one storyteller Extreme loads of bugs Extreme short Neutral info: DS-type-Leveling system (use and you'll get bonusses) And now the positive: Story
Baley
The character creation\development might be consider simple compared to the likes of D20 or VTM but it does have some redeeming qualities. Dhruin wrote a rather acurate review for RPGdot,I suggest checking it out.. It's been published in NA by the name of Heretic Kingdoms. Honestly, twas the story that pulled me in. Wow Battlewookiee, have you even played the game? Then please shut the **** up. The maps aren't that small, compared to K2s they are rather big, Who the hell needs VO? It works well enough without them. A lot of bugs? I experienced 1 bug with the game crashing after removing a bag from the inventory. Wow,well hey,it's 2D,it's ugly!!11I mean no bump mapping??!!! Ahhh,my eyers!111 Too easy?? Did we even play the same game? The painted backgrounds are beautiful and detailed, just look at the damn screenshots. And please,it was just as long as K1 or K2... And the music was decent enough... Next time, before bashing a game I suggest trying it first,at least the Demo. And what Magazine was that,PC Gamer? 213374U
Uh, Baley. Flaming a moderator? Man, not even I would do that. Extreme loads of bugs This is probably the only aspect of the review that bothers me. I'm even willing to put up with an easy game if the story is good enough. But as with Bloodlines, I'm not going to support sloppy development by buying the game. I'll probably just rent it. Baley
Heh. Kult Upgrade v.1.5 Released Project Three Interactive and the creative minds of 3D People have released a third upgrade for its recently released isometric action RPG for PC 'Kult Heretic Kingdoms'. This update brings your retail game to v1.5 and decreases loading times, improves memory management and adds mod support an many things more. The upgrade v.1.5. includes all previous updates and can be used for all language versions. Honestly. There was only 1 important bug that was fixed with the first patch. It moved fast enough on my PC even before the more recent patches.
