As King James sinks deeper into the realms of lunacy, the people of England continue to suffer from the erratic, schizophrenic outbursts of their maniacal ruler. Random executions and inhuman food rationing has gripped this once proud nation, deforming it into a plethora of chaos and destruction.

 

Fortunately, Russian and French forces were able to intercept and destory his personal carrier in the North Sea - shipping opium to undoubtably sate the King's widely publicised drug addiction.

 

"The Sovereign nations of France and Russia can abide by this no more," declared Tsar Jaguar. "No longer will an English child go without bread whilst their leader indulges in demented vices. King's James reign of terror must be put to an end. We and the French currently have the tyrant surrounded in his palace in Buckingham. London WILL fall this year. King James must be brought to justice."

Italian troops offer free pizza to their Austrian neighbours.

In a move of brotherhood and man's humanity to his fellow man, the very stylish Italian armed forces risked their lives to provide free commestibles to their favourite neighbour.

 

"It was a great show of solidarity with our European neighbours," said General Raphael Pecodillo, "and was achieved with minimal casualties. Our specially commissioned delivery tanks accidentally injured some civilians who were playing on the road, but apart from that the food fed everyone it was supposed to.

 

"We plan on helping our Teutonic neighbours, next!"

I'm just going to fall back and continue pitting Germany and Austria against each other. With any luck I can get Deraldin to turn his full attention on Austria and Turkey while I sneak back into St. Peters...tand still and wait for his return. )

Quite effective as long as you actually follow the instructions for the stalemate line which you occupy. That's why it's called a stalemate line, because you cannot breach the line provided the person on the opposite side uses the right set of orders.
