EnderAndrew Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Well, there were three founders. What's another name for a triumvirate? Troika?
jaguars4ever Posted June 13, 2005 Author Posted June 13, 2005 What's another name for a triumvirate? Troika? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Woah...slow down on the exapansion hotshot! A triumvirate simply is too ambitious of a prospect for them right now. ^_^
EnderAndrew Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 No, Obsidian was formed by Feargus and the two Chris-type people. That makes them a triumvirate, and Troika just happens to be another world for triumvirate.
EnderAndrew Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Hrm. Troika just closed shop, and they had a mostly finished engine and they wanted to do a NEW post-apocalyptic game that wasn't a sequel. MCA just said instead of a new Fallout, someone should make a new PA game that is better than Fallout. Obsidian needs to hire. The Troika crew needs jobs. Seriously, I'm shocked this speculation hasn't occured in the New Jersey threads. Too bad New Jersey is using Unreal 3, and not Troika's engine. But technically, that could be a publisher demand. They could be doing a post-apoc game none the less.
Atreides Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 They could be doing a post-apoc game none the less. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *Points and laughs* Spreading beauty with my katana.
Fionavar Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Well before the speculation arouses admin's company bashing concerns, I think we'll just set this thread up for a good ol' fashioned timeout The universe is change; your life is what our thoughts make it - Marcus Aurelius (161)
